Boxers in prison for crimes (murder)

Post by Mimmy »

Just browsing some boxing stories on the net and find lots of stories regarding ex-fighters who have been in prison for a variety of reasons, Tyson rape, etc etc.

How many ex fighters have commited murder and gone to prison, any ideas?

Hurricane carter.

That lightweight banger with the chip in his head that topped himself in custody. His name escapes me. Was gonna be 'the new PAC'. Bad like a million first round ko's.

And the Argie middleweight, atg. Shit forgot his name now as well (just say no kids). Didn't he kill some1

Didnt know that about Houston. Saw him on "Hard Bastards" a few years ago. He definately thought he owned Coventry.

James Butler. He sucker punched Richard Grant after his loss to him.

Ironically,Max Kellerman was one of the few who defended him, at least to some extent, and it was Sam, Max's brother, who took him in after Butler did time for that assault.

If I remember correctly, Butler smashed Sam's head in with a hammer.

Wasn't he that hard case junior from Coventry who knocked just about everyone out; think I read about him in Boxing News 5 or 6 years ago; I wondered what he were doing.
