An in shape motivated spoon would get a late ko or decision. The problem is spoon was so erratic in his preperation you dont know how his condition is gonna be. But, i also think spoon is underratrd and lyle is overrrated.

I agree with this assessment. Additionally: Lyle has the punchers shot, Tim has a good beard...so that's a wash.

This is a pretty even matchup. Witherspoon at his best the slightly better boxer but Lyle at his best was more consistent and aggressive. Give me Lyle by MD via the greater activity/bigger shots landed.

Lyle faced better competition, but Spoon was no slouch, and could take a better punch.I think Lyle takes a close UD.
