Right bredrin... gonna get myself a decent juicer/blender and start knocking up some proper smoothies/recovery drinks etc.
Firstly - any tips on the best kind to get?
Secondly, any wicked recipes for super nutrient filled drinks to make?
I wanna get something with loads of greens/fruit/good fats/oils and any other suggested ingredients.

Re: Juicers/Blenders and recipes...
Check this one out.
Ingredients:
2 cups spinach
2 cups cucumber
1 head of celery
1/2 inch or teaspoon ginger root
1 bunch parsley
2 apples
Juice of 1 lime
Juice of 1/2 lemon
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender. This makes approximately 28-30 ounces, or 3-4 servings.
Haven't tried it yet so let us know how it was.
I got it from me ex so it should be OK (she still loves me
). She says it's invigorating.
As for juicers, I'm not an expert here but have heard there is something special about the slow ones - apparently more nutrients are preserved when the temperature stays low. Needless to say, those healthy juicers are much more expensive - you're looking at sth like £300+.

Buy a smoothie maker instead of a blender. Tend to be cheaper for the same power.
Buy Acai.

Templeslave - Cheers, I'll give that one a try when I next go shopping.
I've tried two so far, both easily drinkable, but i'm convinced I can make them taste better by playing around with ingredients:
First one was, handfull blueberries, handfull mixed berries, big handfull spinach, cup green tea (cold), tablespoon extra virgin olive oil, scoop neutral flav whey.
Second was, 1 banana, 2 scoops chocolate whey, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2cup water, tablespoon peanut butter.
