The German Olympic representive Enrico Kolling is to my knowledge the first Olympian to make his intentions clear by signing pro forms with anyone, he's with Sauerland and fights at light heavyweight.

Whats the deal with Lomachenko? I heard that he committed to that whole AIBA Professional Boxing nonsense. You would have to think that Saurland or somebody else could offer him more money than AIBA

I honestly dont get the Lomachenko Aiba professional deal. I know Lomachenko was once offered a deal with K2. It would be a big shame if he didn't make his way into the pro's.T Duquette wrote:Whats the deal with Lomachenko? I heard that he committed to that whole AIBA Professional Boxing nonsense. You are correct Wizzy09 but not only we try to sign the best person in the division we try to scout out every up and coming fighter. Mr.Vasquez was on our list had a great amateur career also a Olympic runner up but a pro debut against a former Junior Olympic runner up a Golden Gloves, Silver Gloves. And Lbc runner up. In My eyes Mr.Hernandez looked like the aggressive fighter landing more cleaner blows. So with all this saying we look the guys in the division and try to give them a chance to fight for a chance to get sign on with our Promotions.. I seen great talent in this Flyweight fight maybe a Champion in the making with our help but great stuff cant wait to have these guys out here to showcase their talent..
Re: Top amateurs turning pro in 2012 (2010 & 2011 too)
yup great fighters are always the underdogs in the fights the guys that want to win and not to fight for a check!

mr gary, l hope im not imposing. its no suprise to me that jerry odom and dc boxers of all ages are moving up in their phases of boxing life. dc is a hotbed of FIGHTERS. whether they the best or not they will fight. if u make it out your region u lucky cause its so hard down there, AND NO ROBBERIES EITHER! fair is fair and when you have guys like brent bovell (one of the classiest officials EVER) these things are gonna happen. if usab had MORE guys like u good people there will be more medals, FO SHIZZLE!! but when guys like brent, & even u gotta take false orders from false people its sad. GOD know u guys status in the dc area and more people need to recognize the good people instead of the ones that destroyed our program. young kids study ray leonard. 2 me.....4 many, no need 2........those that do, those that do gotta REALLY GOTTA UNDERSTAND THE STRUGGLE ray went thru!!!!! 4 real! what drove him 2 the points that put him in a position to win a gold medal?? people glofify the 76 team, buy it wasnt glorification, it was REDEMPTION! 3 of our gold medalists in 76 came from maryland, st. louis, cats was on welfare, HUNGRY, POOR, laughed at! THEN RAY BECAME "SUGAR RAY"! todays kids just dont know cause they wasnt educated so u cant blame them. all them hungry kids, USAB GOT RID OF. and mr. gary one day i hope to sit with you face to face & explain this 2 u in a heartfelt, 1 on 1. in all my blogs l never commited anything worthy of an arrest and never will. i tell the truth. 0 medals? people gonna know why!! SPECIAL SHOUT OUT 2 BOBBY McGRUDER!!Gary Digital Williams wrote:National Golden Gloves champion Jerry Odom of DC will make his pro debut on Saturday, October 27 at the George Mason University Patriot Center in Fairfax, VA.

We people need to stand up to all this robbery going on in this sport!
Re: Top amateurs turning pro in 2012 (2010 & 2011 too)
yes we must. alot of good young men went down by the wayside in this amateur error/era. their names will be mentioned as the reason usa didnt medal in boxing. i mean, the usab had the NERVE to print their kids got robbed in the olympics. AFTER WHAT THEY DID TO KIDS LEADING UP TO THESE OLYMPIC GAMES......how can anyone state that........heres one of the systems: they have their FEW selected kids they wanna see advance to the quarter, semi, or even final rounds. they place them in a bracket where they SOME WHAT safe. even have a highlight of them smokin a outclassed fighter early, warm him up. things get rough, the pens, or the hands THAT CONTROL THE COMPUTERS got the situation under control. this type of fighter becomes our OLYMPIC BOXER. NOW for the fight they want out: DRUM ROLLS PLEASE!! they set him up wit the toughest fighter where as if he dont knock the guy out, NO MATTER WHAT he loses. IM GONNA NAME NAMES SOON, so be ready. and with the names is pooff. videos dont lie.

Re: Top amateurs turning pro in 2012 (2010 & 2011 too)
and all this adds up to us being forced to hear, or even read or see boxing introduce to us THE NEXT FAKE GERRY COONEY of boxing, haaaaaa. im gonna throw up at what usab has produced in some parts of the ol' U.S. of A
Re: Top amateurs turning pro in 2012 (2010 & 2011 too)
these young men deserve to be heard from. i believe the ones who were robbed like that are our future world champions. maybe they didnt need no STINKIN 0 MEDALS training so they can be ruined. what happened to our olympians since 2000? many were ruined. few made it. david reid was rushed. ricky williams, ron siler, where them guys? jason estrada, u couldnt beat him in the amateurs. in the pros...not good. paul williams, chad dawson, tavoris cloud and many others, sergio martinez and chavez jr.....non olympians. SO U DONT HAVE TO BE AN OLYMPIAN. especially one with 0 medals! the ones who were denied a chance to compete in the 2012 will go in history with the ones who did cause they are the reason WHY usa mens has 00000000000 medals!!

The judges are starting to make the sport of boxing look bad with all this favoritism and hometown and the fighters getting bulit to win. Why cant let the guys that really fight win huh im tried of all these former olympians winning just cause they fought for our country and what have they done.. nothing but LOSE... My point is the underdogs in fights always overcome the known guys!!
