Boxers in prison for crimes (murder)
Re: Boxers in prison for crimes (murder)
Harry Simon had two serious car crashes which killed a bunch of Belgium tourists and a baby. He got banged up for culpable homicide.
Also Barrios ran a red light, smashed an oncoming car straight over a pregnant woman and killed her, then Barrios cleared off in front of everyone. I think he paid like $100k and walked free or something ridiculous though.

Jimmy Tibbs as far as I know he has never gone down that road of killing anyone.
Jimmy Tibbs upon his release from prison has obviously seen the error of his ways and has for many years now has been putting all his time and effort into what he loves doing and that is his involvement with Boxing.
Is now a very respected man in British Boxing with his son Mark Tibbs following in his footsteps.
Definitely going down the right roads these days, and comes across as a very nice man, always ready for a chat.

At a guess, that is either due in part or whole to his "conversion"? I'm guessing that happened inside?

Perhaps the most psychotic and freakiest of them all, this accomplished amateur fighter was highly touted as the next big thing when he became pro.
The guy was very representative of the new era of heavyweights as he was very tall, heavy, but was solid muscle. In 1996, Scott was convicted of rape and had to serve four years in a state prison.
Having learned his lesson, Scott was released and in 2004 proceeded to anally rape a 59-year-old smelly homeless woman in broad daylight. This type of abuse is unacceptable as reports from prison indicate Scott's schlong is at least a good 10 inches long. As if that wasn't enough, he then pumelled the poor woman to death as people walked by. The cops said they saw Scott standing over the woman and were unable to prevent her death.
Translation: The cops were scared and didn't dare try to tackle Scott in his maniacal
