His opponent was not Sturm that time.

If Geale does not get a fair nod from the judges, it will not be the first time a Sturm opponent has had that happen to him.

I really think Geale will win on points-unsure if he will get the decision though.

I think they managed to get two neutral judges so hopefully it's an even playing field.
I really think Geale can do this, strum has been loosing rounds lately to IMO, lesser fighters than Daniel

A draw is paying $21 bucks, Geale @ $2.20 - Think Sturm is @ $1.65, I don't gamble but might put some money ($5 bucks  ) on this fight.

Strum was very lucky vs Macklin and Murray 2 fights I thought he lost. This one will prob go the distance. Should be close very hard to call its got split decision all over it.

Sturm was lucky against Macklin but the verdict of the Murray fight was fair.

I think Daniel can win it.

By the way, did anybody else notice an 8 rounder on the program where former WBA Heavyweight champion Ruslan Chagaev is fighting a palooka named Werner Kreiskott who was KOed by Evgeny Orlov in his last fight? I doubt there will be any betting on that fight. Most of you will remember Orlov being knocked into a near coma by Alex Leapai last year.

I used to rate Ruslan. A bit small for a HW, but a solid performer none the less. Needs to be looking past this type of fight if he is still considering himself in the hunt though.

There are many it seem reading several forums that really dont give Geale on rating as a boxer. While the predominant criticism is his lack of power some of the bagging is absurd.Perhaps many is an overstatement as seems the general consensus is a narrow Sturm win.
I do think Sturm, despite the talk is overlooking Geale. Either looking for a mega fight(on his terms) or just gonna ditch the WBA belt and defend the IBF vs Soliman. Or go up and fight AA.
Have not seen any of Macklin/Murray but do they have Geales workrate. Personally I believe that will be Geales greatest asset and potentially,as the rounds go on be Sturms downfall.Lets hope he uses a decent brand of glove tape.
In reality its unlikely Geale wins by KO. So he has to be dominant.
Disappointed nowhere I can find is showing the fight in SA, even The Marion. Doh. RBR anyone??? Please.

Look at this another fair nod from the judges in Germany for Geale.
Good for him, nice to see a close decision go to the visitor.

Apparently to keep the WBA title Geale now has to fight the winner of Golovkin-Proksa by December.

Well done Geale, I had him winning by 2 rounds. I dont understand the official scoring of two judges, but hey the best man won. Sturm was lucky to beat Macklin and Murray and I would have been a little upset had he been given the decision against Geale. Good old Dave Parris from London registered the right score for me and your guy was the winner. Oz sport has had it rough lately so its time you had some success. A two strap champion, and two wins in Germany. I dont think that has happened before.

I had it 116-112. Geale out worked and landed the harder punches. Great win and it really sets him up for big money fights.

Good. Hope he keeps beating the big names too. Golovkin could be his biggest test so far though. Mundine sure didn't want anything to do with him.
