I know I should be greatful about the fantastic schedule of boxing Sky have been showing of late, but there is still plenty of action not being picked up. Look at the tasty upcoming fights/bills not (as yet) being shown on UK TV - unless you have a porn dish.

Wednesday 28th September.
Kransiqi vs Brewester (WBO Title)
Plus: Alexander Dimentrenko vs Vaughan Bean.

Friday 30th September.
Glen Johnson vs George Jones. - For the mandatory for Clintons belt.

October 1st (Saturday).
Jones vs Tarver III
Kid Diamond vs Nate Campbell

Toney vs Guinn
Byrd vs Williamson (IBF Title)
Marquez vs Mabussa - love to see this bill.

Valuev vs Donald
Vidoz vs Sprott (EBU Title).

Thats not discussing good bills a fair few weeks away like Rahman vs Vitali's PPV, the lighterweights PPV - featuring Montiel, Vorapin and Carerez.

Sky is awesome at the minute with it's coverage, but what people should remember is that with the fights from the US, they are spread across a variety of networks (SHO, HBO, ESPN, FOX, PPV etc) and sky is only 1. I think that considering that they do amazing to show what they do (at least now anyway) there is no way it can improve unless ITV, Bravo, Eurosport or some other company start to show US stuff too.

Toney v Guinn could be an excellent fight. If Guinn has rediscovered his desire then I predict Toney is in for a rough night. Guinn is fast, punches in combination and has a very good chin too.

We get a good deal with SKY if you think about it, particularly on the American stuff, don't forget the yanks have to pay $49.95 for each show and when you get shit like Rahman-Barrett on PPV you realise it's not so bad here.

I'd have liked to have seen Brewster v Krasniqi live, but the rest I'm quite happy just reading about. Gone are the days when I wanted to see every fight ever staged.

Personally I don't expect Toney to have much trouble with Guinn.

If the passive Guinn turns up, he'll be treated like a heavy bag, but I have a feeling that Guinn will turn up back to his old ways. He mentioned something in an interview about how he didn't want to fight before due to his contract with his promoters.

I know what you mean about that card mate. I got it and watched it the other day and it was well piss - a real dissapointment. Gonzalez shouldn't have been wheeled out anywhere near that ring, Piccirillo might have won had it been at welter (and a few years ago), while the main event was just shite. The highlight for me was probably Oliver McCall's emotionally charged ringwalk, and that Polish bloke's fit bird.

Yeah Saleta's bird was mint!! I take it you didn't get the Luca Messi-Alex Terra Garcia fight? It was a cracker, easily the best on the card. The amusing thing was when i read Graham Houston's article in BM he said had Barrett put the effort he did in the 12th into the previous rounds it could have been different, there i was expecting a big charge and Rahman hurt in the final round when in reality it was just as dull as the previous 11

Nah, don't think the Garcia fight was there. Great. Missed the best fight. :x

Indeed the 12th round was just as dire as the rest, but given Barrett was throwing some of the most telegraphed and sloppy punches I've ever seen during the 11th it wasn't too surprising he didn't... well... do anything when Rahman was on queer street for those 40 secs or so. Poor, poor fight.

At least you have it better then the germans. The german pay channel Premiere that used to have alot of boxing on have deceided not to have any more live boxing on, they will only show "classic fights". So from now on they will only be able to see german cards and whatever Eurosport sends.
