He wasn't ruined, but the description of the physical damage he suffered was chilling.
Come to think of it, Taylor-Espana was a very bad beating also.

I almost forgot Norris-Leonard. Another very sad one, even for Norris.
Arguello-Escalera I was gruesome.

Vitali really kicked the sh*t out of Briggs & Danny Williams, both where big strong guys with massive hearts zero mobility and p*ss poor defences.

Duran hammered Davey Moore and ruined his career in the process.

Bute won’t be the same after the cobra hammered him.

Del A Hoya was completely inert against pac man.

And from days gone by fighters took some right pastings, Lou Nova vs Tony Galento springs to mind.

Poor Haugen...learned what happened when JCC got angry. At least he didn't have to take it for as long as Hector did, though Hector showed his heart.

I forgot all about Mustafa v. Marvin Johnson. Never was Marvin outclassed like that, including against Spinks where he was leading until he got put to sleep.

Pac-MAB deserves a mention as well. It's amazing to see how many 11th round KO's are on this list.

For me

Pacman v Antonio Margarito. There were times Pacman was throwing 5/6 punch combinations and everything was getting through it was one sided that from around rounds 8-10 either Roberto Garcia or Lawrence Cole should stopped that one it was horrible to watch regardless of your opinion on Margarito.

Vitali K v Shannon Briggs again should been stopped by either Ian John Lewis or Buddy Girt should have stopped that one becauase Vitali was rearranging Brigg's face. and also seeing Vitali turning Danny Williams into a 270lb basketball was horrible to watch as well.

The Vazquez v Rafa Marquez series were utterly horrific as they were absorbing as well. Vazquez has needed both eye and nose surgery on that as well.

Lennox Lewis v Mike Tyson was another horrific fight. Lewis was determined to make Tyson really suffer after trying to turn Lewis in to a press conference snack so Lewis punished him for a few rounds before delivering the knockout after been given a right rocket by Manny Steward.

Although I haven't seen it wasn't Ali - Patterson 1 a bad one? Ali - Terrell too; Ali deliberately punished them for calling him Clay.

Douglas -Tyson, not only one of the biggest upsets in history but also a pasting.

Hearns - Andries, the way Hearns bashed him around was pretty amazing given Hearns was a skinny welterweight.

Hamed - Badillo.

Michael Watson was dishing out a bad beating to Chris Eubank until 1 shot changed their lives.

It's a bad round. & that was a bad beating. I still end up feeling sorry for Marco watching that.

Too good of a chin to get KO'd, so he got pasted horribly. Nasty shit.

How about Armstrong-Ross, Zivic-Armstrong, and Fullmer-Peret.

Juan Manuel Lopez v. Gerry Penalosa.
Another beating that occurred due to a titanic chin.

How about Duran-DeJesus II?
Hagler-Obelmejias I also was very ugly.

The Professor deserves a shout out for Fenech II (basically ended Jeff's career) and Martinez II (domination and brutal stoppage).
Richie Sandoval v. Jeff Chandler was sad, as that was not Joltin' Jeff in there.
But Gaby Canizales then gave Sandoval a career-ending terrible beating of his own not even two years later.

Lockridge gave Tae-Jin Moon a frightful beating.
And I know he "lost" to Gomez, but he beat Gomez up so badly that Bazooka sustained damage to his vocal chords.

Molina gave Tony Lopez a terrible beating in the second of their three bouts (a forgotten trilogy). #1 and #3 were terrific, disputed wars.

Oscar and Tito both beat the daylights out of Mayorga, though Tito's lasted longer and seemed to be more agonizing.
Drug cheat Mosley gave Margachito a well-deserved beating before Manny ruined his eye.
Are Norris-Taylor and Tito-Campas too short to count? They were brutal, especially Tito-Campas, as Yori Boy just wouldn't go down.

In a losing effort, how about the beating John David Jackson gave Castro before the "Miracle in Monterrey," as Pacheco aptly described it?

Forgot about Pac-Ledwaba. Ended Ledwaba's career for all intents and purposes. The funny thing is that Ledwaba probably would've beaten the original opponent, Enrique Sanchez, fairly easily. Sanchez got destroyed by MAB a few months later.

Jung-Koo Chang v. German Torres I.
Torres made #2 quite close.
Pedroza gave quite a few, such as Ford, Kobayashi, and Kim.
Pryor-Sang Hyun Kim was embarrassing, though I don't know if it lasted long enough to warrant a mention. Chandler beat the tar out of Murata in the second fight.
