Jung-Koo Chang v. Ricardo Lopez.

Post by Rover »

I think this would've been a light flyweight version of Pac-JMM, except that Pac hit harder than Chang.
The power difference sways me towards going with Lopez by close decision.

My man-crushes for Kevin Kelley & Kennedy McKinney (& indeed JMM & Nishioka) pale in comparison to the level of my besottedness (is that even a word?) for Finito.

To the extent that I would happily pick him over, say, MechaGodzilla in a twelve round championship match. Chang was a fine fighter; but Lopez would prevail, probably on points...

Glad I bumped this for you then. Didn't know how much you loved Finito.

This is 50/50 for me. Chang at his best is a threat to anyone at the lower weight classes. He was better than Rosendo Alvarez.

I like Chang's chances here, close decision either way. Ricardo is immensely overrated from an accomplishment stand point, but he could definitely fight.
