Not all Australian Aboriginals take the Mundine approach.

He has offers from the teams of Murray, Macklin and also Soliman so far.

Most likely is either Soliman or Golovkin as they are both his mandatories. WBA has ordered him to face Golovkin by December, however this might not be possible as all the HBO TV dates are pretty much accounted for.

I have a feeling we will see a homecoming defense of his IBF and WBA titles against Soliman around December time, then early next year, a HBO fight against Golovkin, assuming he gets past Soliman. Hopefully he can negotiate with the governing bodies so that he can maintain both titles while juggling his mandatory defenses.

I'd love to see Geale take on Soliman, Macklin or Murray all of which are doing good things the world over and think Geale will need them fights under his belt before he can fight a powerful Golovkin who has come leaps and bounds with an awesome KO percentage of 89% and improving with every fight, IF Geale brings his a game to all them possible match ups Martinez or Chavez is still a long way away who are the Benchmarks!!
Im still proud of Geale even though he has a few more fights to come until he is a force to be reckoned with in the Middleweight's...

The WBA want Daniel to fight Golovkin before the end of the year. As for Martinez and Chavez it will depend who wins their fight on Saturday week.

Having united the IBF World and WBA Super World titles I fail to see how you don't think Geale is a force among middleweights.

What my interpretation of "force to be reckoned with" is a few things he needs to do...
1, Earn the respect of the US boxing community that matter.. (so he can fight HBO) and be a house hold name where it counts like Martinez and Chavez!
2, Fight more quality opposition like Felix Sturm has (Oscar Dela Hoya < legend) Geale has'nt fought a "Legend" yet (he can eventually, he has potential).
3, Martin and Murray controlled the fights with Sturm but were obviously ripped off in my opinion or judges were swayed by the vocal German crowds
4, One of his flaws is he fights too square, he takes alot of hits like Sturm done (Jabs).

I will go on and say I want Geale to do well, but he is not a force to be reckoned with he just knocked off a man that was dominated by young hungry challengers in Macklin, Murray previously,ALL could have gone either way thats why Geale hasn't done anything new by taking it too Sturm. Geale has fought 27 fights in Australia.. the Dark corners of the world where unfortunately no one gives a hoot about, you think he can pull Crowds to Las Vegas like a Mayweather or Oscar Dela Hoya or Bernard Hopkins did... they are/were forces to be reckoned with because they fought/fight like no other,Geale doesnt SHOW them something they havent seen before... Geale has reached the tip of the ice berg, and he is far from Greatness...
Greatness.... thats when you are a force to be reckoned with!!

You sound just like the dick head Michael Collins from "east side boxing". Oh wait are you that dick
head? And how can you say " the Dark corners of the world where unfortunately no one gives a hoot about" if you are a Aussie?.

Geale has two world titles that he won in another country and he isn't good enough to be on HBO?
He can make money here in Australia but he chooses to fight anyone anywhere. And Golovkin will be the one turning down a fight with Geale, since he(G.G.G) wants to remain in the USA and fight on HBO.

Hey Convict, I'm not Michael Collins... Dont call me Dickhead either i get on here to view my opinion not to argue but i can debate on issues, i love my country and grass roots boxing from Jeff Malcolm, Lionel Rose, Jeff 'hitman' Harding, Tony Mundine, Lester Ellis, Jeff Fenech (I vividly remember watching Fenech/Nelson in 91 like it was yesterday and i was fornicating proud to see him in America showing them pudenda what we offer).. I missed heaps more inspirational fighters that i love watching!

You got carried away and defensive for Geale when i said Geale isnt YET a force to be reckoned with... Plain and simple He IS a good boxer and i loved the news that he beat Sturm but all my point is, he opened more doors from his win and he'll benefit from fighting other challengers to hold him in good stead before matching up with Martinez/Chavez.. I know he will fight ANYONE and ANYWHERE i didnt say he was a chicken shit, he is far from that he has a heart and will and a good text book boxing style with speed and power!

Daniel is tad more than "a good boxer"! He is just as inspirational as the folk you mentioned: Jeff Malcolm, Lionel Rose, Jeff 'hitman' Harding, Tony Mundine, Lester Ellis, Jeff Fenech and his two concurrent world titles puts him in an unique position Australian boxing wise.

The tip of the iceberg is not it's greatness, but what lies hiding underneath the water!

I was as proud and happy as any Australian to see Geale win in Germany (again), and the fight will open doors for him to the next level. I hope he beats them all GG, Martinez, Chavez, but I also think he needs to improve substantially to beat these fighters.
I hope I am wrong but Geale does not seem to have much pop in his punches and this could be a problem as his competition improves, the best fight for Geale IMO is a mundine rematch - good money, low risk and in OZ.

Ive just watched the gg proksa fight, and i think geale has a great chance to knock him over if they fight. Be easier for him to get a decision down here though, now that hbo is pushing gg.

I agree red. I have just been posting on current scene where the consensus seems to be GGG would get the nod. He has great power but he was in with a guy far below Geales quality. Some guys are saying Geale gets hit too easy and doesnt have movement, I would suggest they are basing this on the Sturm fight where he wanted to go toe to toe with him. Someone like GGG I see Geale boxing and moving, winning a UD....but i think until he beats all of the middleweights, it will only be then he gets the recognition outside of Australia he deserves (except for Germany...no doubt he is respected there).
