Post by Foggy »

Just read that Gomez was close to signing to fight for Thaxtons WBF Lightweight title, but didnt at the last minute.

Could be a decent scrap this one :box:

I spoke to Jon and Neil his promoter on Tuesday and Jon was very disappointed espcially as Gomez was in his face at Sheffield, the Woods show, telling he would knock him out in his own backyard of Norwich

Shame really, Gomez seems to be his own worst enemy... from what I saw of him in his last bout though he seems to be shot. A hard life both in and out of the ring like he has had will catch up with you sooner or later....

Good piece on Thaxton in the Daily Express today. Seems they offered Gomez £24K for the fight.

Good to see some good coverage in a Daily!
