Skept, I do look forward to talking with you about this in detail! I do feel what you are saying, however.

In other news -- two more top amateurs are turning pro in September -- Kevin Rivers, Jr. and Jarrett Hurd. They will be on the September 29th card in DC.

Cant wait to see Kevin Rivers fight!!... Well guys i just flew back into my office this morning and talk about a long trip but a very impressive one too!.. I would like to say i was in Texas this past weekend to Scout some pro fighters and seen some great fights but a huge thing that upsets and messes up boxing "Favoritism and Robbery". This is why most kids now days dont like going out to Texas idk whats wrong with these judges you cant hide your kids all the time and you cant build them up their whole career. First of all would of like to say i was wow'd with Fosters KO, and a very good boxing match with Hernandez vs the southpaw kid then leading to very medociate middleweight fight, and then once again the younger Hernandez showing his great skills and talent over the Golden Boy Prospect Cantu. I just wanna say something to free my mind please Texas sue whoever thats in controll of the judging because they are the ones destorying boxing. To Hernandez them keep up the hard work my guys will keep in contact with yall we are trying to draw up some figures.

For anyone that is interested in a great light fly weight / fly weight we have one in Lockhart Texas. His name is Richard Hernandez and he has been a victim of two robberies back to back in a four week period. He fought two top prospects in Santos Vasquez in Fallon Nevada and fought Oscar Cantu in Robstown Texas and should have won both but because we didn't have the support from the promoters / judges we were taken advantage of. It is a shame because this young man has tremendous talent and he could pack any arena with the right people backing him up. How do I know because he has won the crowd over in his last two fights through his performance. This saturday we went to a place where Oscar was a feature attraction and he was supposed to knock us out according to him. But that is not what happen on the contrary he was out classed by Richard only to get robbed again. This has to stop or else boxing is going to lose its most loyal fans.

Yes sir I am their coach! Henry their dad does also coach but he is primarily dealing with the managing portion of it. It works well for both of us but because we have seen what has happen to Rich we recognize we need some backing from people who can help keep the sport honest. We both want to see these boys succeed. Richard has been with us for five months and we have changed his style a little to help show case his attributes, skill, and flat out talent. He is only going to get better so the sky is the limit. Henry has been with us maybe a total of four weeks due to logistics regarding training schedules but we are fixing that. We were supposed to fight a right hander on saturday but that was switched the day before. I believe me being a left hander myself could have put a plan together to help Henry succeed not to mention if we would have known we could have sparred left handers the whole time. But in the short time we have had together we have been able to work on correcting some old behaviors that caused issues in the ring in the past. We have patched up some defense and worked out a few kinks now we want to work on technique and style with great offense. We are considering dropping to a lower weight class because we believe it will give us a greater chance to succeed as we grow together. So with all this said when do you guys want to meet and where?

I notice both boys hold a great amount of power and will that thrieves them to win but these judges we just cant let that happen anymore!.. The boys show hungerness in them i seen alot of great things in them 1 of them was the great boxing/counter puncher in richard and in henry great power and will not to give up as he kept taking the fight to the hometown guy. The guys and I talk about the judgement going on in the fight as 3 out of 4 judges were from the corpus christi area?.. Hmm makes you think why do these judges keep doing this all there doing is hurting the fighters! We Had The Scored as it was with Richard winning with a great margin and Henry getting a draw or winning barely.. Ok with all that said I would like to meet with yall as soon as possible maybe meeting in dallas or san antonio within this month or next and i would like all to be formal

No I didn't but I am not sure if Henry did. I know we were called for a show in Pomona on October 6th! We only want to fight Richard between 108-112 we don't want to go higher than that so we don't want that fight. Not sure who they were thinking of.

Yea Richard is strong, slick, fast, great vision, and timing. Henry is strong and hits very hard we just want to add a little more speed and response time and everything else will fall in place.

I am not sure who that is meant for but me as a coach that is the worst part of boxing so I don't like to deal with it. Not to mention the more you know of how things can work it leaves a bad feeling. I just ask, if you handle a fighter remember that most of them want to work towards the big prize even though some may dissagree with this statement. You must take care of the fighter however it does not mean get him a fight with the local bum to build him like I have repeatedly seen making the boxer feel he is better than he really is.
