He covered up mainly, landed what he threw but threw so little that it wasn't worth considering what he threw as a real fight back.

The way Charr sort of came to life in the 4th after the cut suggested to me that he did have a game plan to come on late, however unrealistic that may have been. He did catch Vitali with a few.

And this is why Vitali-Haye should happen. As Haye is fast and can punch, unlike anybody Vitali has fought since... Sanders? And Haye is more dedicated than Sanders. Vitali is not what he was when he was when he faced Sanders. This is why I think it is the most interesting fight at heavyweight left. I think Vitali will win, but it will be much more exciting than the Wladamir fight. I don't care if Vitali retires tomorrow, and Wlad fghts on. There will not be an entertaining heavyweight fight for about two years, until Fury fights Price or Haye fights Fury or Haye fights Vitali.

Haye/Wlad rematch? Nobody wants that. Wlad vs anybody heavyweight top 10? Who gives a sh*t? Wlad wins.

At least Vitali-Haye has the 'Vitali has gotten old' and the 'Haye stopped the guy Vitali couldn't" fight variables hanging over it.

Brilliantly accurate.

I mean Haye is hardly the second coming, but talent wise,size wise speed and boxing fundamentals wise he could be another top 8-12 HW from the 80s, and despite what people say I think he gave Wladimir a semi decent fight...its just he had been yapping and talking as if it was going to be Ali-Liston 2 or Tyson-Berbick and than he fought fairly tamely.

I remember seeing rocky 4 in the early 90s and thinking how can Stallone a 40 year old man make out he is a HW champ, but man the Klitchkos look older and at this rate they can reign into their late 40s....

I never thought I'd say this after Wlad/Haye, but we need Vitali/Haye. Someone needs to decap this boring, uncoordinated freak, and I think he has aged to the point where Haye could do it without much bother. Despite the grossly inflated 'knockout' percentage, this is a man who could not down Obed Sullivan, Chris Byrd, Vaughn Bean, Delboy Chisora, ancient relics like Corrie Sanders, Lennox Lewis and Shannon Briggs. He is not a puncher and his punching technique is hideous.

I think Haye has the speed, power and desperation to redeem himself that would see him splatter Vitali. Sadly that will lead to Wlad/Haye 2 but we can't have it all.
