Ward vs Dawson

There are not too many options for Ward. It looks like he wants to stay at super middle for teh time being, so realistically who do whe have who could either come dowm, move up or fight at their own weight?

Cloud or Cleverly?

Froch or Kessler rematch (no point as he won clearly first time around)

Groves or Degale (far too inexperienced)

Martinez or Golovkon moving up would be too small.

The only one I can think of who may give him a decent go would Chavez Jr. He has the size, is tough as old boots and far better than most people give him credit for.

I see Ward beating him, but at least Chavez would have a proper go at him.

Like I said, we haven't had any undisputed champs since Lennox days... he probably wouldv'e ended up fighting Bute if Froch never... if he was to beat them comfortably and unify before going up it would be great

Plus Froch is hot news right now... a UK Froch fight would be a great event/payday

Grim spectacle after the first couple. Dawson was fighting 2 battles in there.

If Froch beats Bute and Kessler then Ward-Froch in Nottingham could be a big money fight for him.
I don't like how boxers don't unify titles anymore. If I was him I'ld take on Frich and Abraham again and become one of the GOAT super-middles... then go up and beat Dawson again and Clev, unify both divisons!

There will never be enough cash to bring Ward to Nottingham. I doubt Carl fancies it, either. Despite him "wanting to face the best", he rarely shouts Ward's name. Mack, Bute and Kessler seems to be the plan.

There would be enough money generated from tickets sales in a stadium!

There would not. American T.V and American venues paying site fees far outweigh stadium revenue. And would Froch fill a stadium? There was still tickets available for the Bute fight right up to fight day. I dont think Carl or Eddie will be too bothered if they never see Ward again, cant blame them, either.

Ward's team believe they would have Kayoed Froch if not for his broken hand.

I think they're getting a bit over excited/amazed that Ward actually stopped someone.
