If Ricky Hatton is making a comeback, it's likely to be full of boxing fans watching that.. I guess I can book a telly up for the snooker, then keep my eye on Ricky Hatton.
Might be better looking for a snooker forum ffs...

No way is it sensible to dive straight in against Mallignaggi.
Sheer madness.
The same Malignaggi who has knocked out less people than my mum
He could most certainly fight him after a full training camp - However, Malignaggi is lined up to fight Pablo Cesar Cano so he wouldn't be fighting Hatton anytime in 2012 anyway
I don't think he would jump straight back in at title level anyway he would at least need 1 or 2 "warm up" fights to shack off the old ring rust as they say
Jay,
I read your post as saying straight in with Malignaggi now.
I don't care if his punches are powder puff, to go from a 3 year retirement against an active fighter at his level is madness, I stand by that.
Training camps are one thing .........

Yep, I agree a three year lay off is ok if your name is Floyd…
Paulie is still operating at world level and I would fancy him on points. Maybe Mallignaggi in two fights time……Unless of course Ricky has owned his brother in sparring over 15 rounds, and the LM weight (God knows his name) who stopped Ryan Rhodes .

Fair point, surely Ricky won't come back unless he has been looking sharp in sparring? If he has been hitting the heavy bag a few times and hears the rocky sound track in the background and makes his decision on that then it could be another early night for him!
Well at least he is in shape last time - remember when he announced his return to the sport (that never happend) in Jan 2009.... he worked the bag looking like the Michelin man.

I do remember that and it was embarrassing; I think that was Jan 2010 as he fought PacMan in May 2009 If I remember..
