Don't believe Ricky wants to press charges. Probably all BS!
Re: Hatton gets a slap of his old man

The most interesting part of that article was the bit about Burt Reynolds' old man sparking him clean out!

Perhaps it's just his Dad getting fustrated at Ricky planning a comeback.........Simple as !!
He doesn't want to see his son get hurt and he knows he is well past his prime years.

Re: Hatton gets a slap of his old man
It mentions the handling of Ricky's financial affairs in the BoxRec article. Wouldn't be surprised if money was the cause. Often the way when a relationship goes sour.

Possibly true...although a whack in the chops is a bit of an ironic way of showing itQuixall wrote:Perhaps it's just his Dad getting fustrated at Ricky planning a comeback.........Simple as !!

Or just showing Ricky he's lost his reflexes, not that they were his strong point anywaygreenyox3 wrote:Possibly true...although a whack in the chops is a bit of an ironic way of showing itQuixall wrote:Perhaps it's just his Dad getting fustrated at Ricky planning a comeback.........Simple as !!

He's probably spent a few years coming to the conclusion that Floyd beat him due to his preparation and has decided to copy it...!
Re: Hatton gets a slap of his old man
I don't really get what Burt Reynolds has to do with this

Whats burt reynolds got to do with it. I saw mean machine the other day. I guess that could have happened to Ricky and it would have made a great movie too. But glad to see Ricky back in charge and doing well.
