Scott Gilfoid and other alter egos
I think it's fairly well known that the execrable Scott Gilfoid is most likely an alias created for clickbait purposes. It looks like this isn't the only alter ego being used, however:

Check out the similarities in style, rhetoric and structure between Messrs Gilfoid and 'Michael Collins' (perhaps the name explains his anti-Brit bias)

So retarted:
He can't even spell his name right!I think Macklin would be perfect for Golovkin because he would no doubt try and go right at him to see if he can hurt Golovkin. This would lead to Golovkin destroying Mackklin in one or two rounds.

Oh my look at this one:
In other news... Arsenal have drawn Stevenage in the League Cup. This will be a walkover for Stevenage as Arsenal as clearly a Conference team punching well above their weight! The 25-year-old Frampton has really stepped in this time in taking on the 32-year-old talented “The Canadian Kid” Molitor. Frampton is going to get schooled in a major way by Molitor, and there is no way shape or form that the little 5’5″ Frampton is going to win this fight.

Re: Scott Gilfoid and other alter egos
Translated:
The now famous boxing writer Scott Gilfoid post new verbal jabs after Mikkel Kessler, as he has done so often before, ahead of Dane's meeting with the Annual WBA champion Brian Magee in Herning on 8 December.
- Magee is ready to return to Denmark to give Kessler kick your ass in front of his own fans, like the Kessler was against Andre Ward in Oakland, writes American Gilfoid in its latest 'analysis' on boxingnews24.com.
But analysis is not the right word, seems virtually all fans who have commented Gilfoids article. As when he writes:
- Magee has more talent and have much more energy in the tank for at this point in his career compared to the 33-year-old, rusty Kessler. Although Kessler is four years younger than Magee, it does not matter, because Magee was older with great strength, and he has not been so laborious a way as Kessler. Magee also look younger, think Gilfoid.

Gilfoid writes many articles - or comments - especially about Americans Andre Ward and Andre Dirrell, as Gilfoid shelves everywhere, and Mikkel Kessler and Carl Froch. As when he in all seriousness Analyse that Ward could beat Froch and Kessler on the same evening (see here).
In another article on Kessler vs. Magee writes Gilfoid that Magee did not - as Carl Froch - will be bonnet of Kessler's many fans in a hall in Herning.
- I do not expect that Magee will be concerned about how much Kessler fans screaming on 8 December. Magee is a professional and he is accustomed to boxing away from home, he has done for many years. He will not let Kessler's fans go on nerves.
- Kessler has not beaten a good opponent for a long time. His last two fights have been against Allan Green and Mehdi Bouadla, but none had previously predicted that the games would be close, writes Scott Gilfoid in this article.

The only one who apparently expected that Kessler vs. Green would be close, was fun enough Scott Gilfoid, as in this and other articles prelude predicted that Green would destroy Kessler:
- If Kessler had problems with the talented Other Wards power super middleweight, imagine Kessler's reaction when Green starts to land his right hand bombs. I see Kessler like another technical points defeat when he gets injured and the fight is stopped predicted Gilfoid then.
There are many places been speculated about Scott Gilfoid is a regular internet troll who just are out to provoke and irritate the selected boxers, or whether he is a pseudonym for a person who does not want to write und

How do you make money from people clicking on your site? Advertisements like 10000 visits make you £1.00?

That's the one. Imagine how many enraged vikings clicked on that page after seeing Mikkel dissed in the daily paper? It'd be like Gilfoid getting in the Scum & calling Hatton fat or something.Final round wrote:How do you make money from people clicking on your site? Advertisements like 10000 visits make you £1.00?
I'll bet Gilfoid's creator/master is eyeing up a new patio as we speak. Made of shit & earwax, hopefully.

Made of shit and ear wax lol not heard that one before I'd imagine there's one or two tradesmen who specialise in those quality materials.
Re: Scott Gilfoid and other alter egos
You basically open a google advert account, get the code and paste it into the site. Then you get like $0.03 per page impression and $0.10 per click on an advert.
What baffles me, is that on google, to appear in their 'news' tab they analyse whether your interviews/reviews are legit and not just muck. They generally have standards - so how bn24 got there - and all these other scraper sites - who never create anything or give back, get listed is a mystery. I don't think I've ever read a piece where they have picked up a phone, spoke to a fighter and then wrote it up.

Re: Scott Gilfoid and other alter egos
So Google employees check through and just see it as a boxing news site and if it looks kosher enough it gets listed in the news section. Which earns it plenty of traffic when people search for 'boxing news'G0mez wrote:You basically open a google advert account, get the code and paste it into the site.
