LETS START WITH COACH ABDULLAH, PEOPLE WANNA BLAME HIM FOR THIS DONUT (0) MEDAL COUNT. ITS NOT HIS FAULT! USAB GAVE HIM THIS TEAM. GOD BLESS GUYS LIKE RAUSHEE, MIKE HUNTER AND ERROL SPENCE. USAB RUNNING AROUND CRYING PEOPLE GOT ROBBED IS CLASSLESS, HYPOCRITICAL AND FRAUDALENT. HOW MANY KIDS THEY ROBBED IN USAB NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS, AND EVERYONE SAT BACK AND SAID NOTHING IN FEAR OF RETALIATION AGAINST THEIR FIGHTERS? HOW MANY KIDS WERE DENIED THE CHANCE TO SEE IF THEY CAN GO TO LONDON AND COMPETE VS THE WORLDS BEST CAUSE USAB DIDNT LIKE THEM AND NO MATTER HOW SKILLED THEY WERE, IF USAB DIDNT LIKE THEM THEY WERE ROBBED IN MAJOR TOURNAMENTS? HOW MANY? ROY JONES GOT ROBBED IN SEOUL, BUT IN THIS COUNTRY THE MOST HIGH PROFILED ROBBED EVER IS A YOUNG MAN FROM BKLYN NY. MY LIL MAN TRAV P!! REMEMBER HIM?? HIS NAME IS TRAVIS PETERKIN. SEEN HIS FIGHT WITH LUIS ARIAS. 3 ROUND BEATING AT THE 2009 NAT'L GOLDEN GLOVES IN UTAH. ON YOUTUBE. AGAIN IN 2010 IN LITTLE ROCK, ARK. ARIAS LATER WAS FOUND TO BE TAKING ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES, BANNED FROM USAB. DID PEOPLE SEE HOW MUCH ARIAS WAS HELPED IN BOUTS HE SHOULD HAVE LOST? NO ONE COULD SAY A THING OR THE POLITICS FALL ON THEM. PETERKIN IS A KID WHO COULD'VE COMPETED FOR A SPOT IN THE 165. NEVER HAD A 8 COUNT OR KNOCKED DOWN IN 104 AM BOUTS. FOUGHT THE BEST TOO. NO ONE CAN SAY THEY GAVE HIM A 8 COUNT. IM LYING, HE GOT ONE 8 COUNT CAUSE HIS FATHER DIDNT HEAR THE BELL AND DIDNT EXIT THE RING FAST ENUFF IN THE 2009 USA NAT'LS. MANY MORE KIDS FELT THIS WRATH? COACH ABDULLAH IS NOT THE BLAME, HE IS JUST THE PERSON PEOPLE CAN BLAME AND HATE ON HIM BECAUSE HE IS HIM. THE PERSON USAB FEEL THE PERSON THEY CAN PUSH AROUND IS THE ONE THEY BLAME. ASK ME WHY KIDS/YOUNG BOXERS IS QUIETLY STEPPIN UP TELLIN REPORTS THAT COACHES SENT KIDS TO A 15YR OLD TRAV P's ROOM IN 2006 AND START WITH HIM, MAKE HIM MAD SO IT LOOK LIKE HE STARTED TROUBLE....IM JUST GETTIN STARTED....TEAM USA HAS NOOOOOOOOOO MEDALS, 1ST TIME IN HISTORY, AND I BLAME THE PEOPLE HIGHER UP. COACH ABDULLAH IS NOT THE BLAME. DID THESE KIDS PUNCH THEIR TKT 2 LONDON, OR DID USAB PAID THEIR TKT. FREE RIDE 4 MOST? MOST KIDS WHO COULD HAVE HELPED IMPROVE THE PROGRAM WERE DENIED THE OPPORTUNITY. THATS WHY MMA, HOCKEY, SOCCER IS BETTER THAN BOXING. USAB SHITTED ON THEIR OWN KIDS, PLAIN AND SIMPLE. AND CRY WHEN DECISIONS IN THE OLYMPICS DONT GO THEIR WAY.....CLASSLESS. WORSE DECISIONS HAPPENED IN THE USAB. NO ONE GOT ROBBED IN THE OLYMPICS.....THE ROBBERIES HAPPENED WAYYYYYYY B4 THE OLMPICS. IT HAPPENED RIGHT HERE AND SOMEWHERE TRAVIS SHOULD BE PROUD. TRAV IS LIKE THE 50 CENT OF BOXING. TRUE SURVIVOR. BUT BACK TO THE 2012 OLYMPIC MENS TEAM. THE OVER HYPED CLASS OF 2012 COULDNT BRING HOME ONE MEDAL, AND ONCE AGAIN ITS NOT THE FIGHTERS FAULT. ITS USAB's!!!! IN FACT IM GONNA GO AS FAR AND SAY THAT FOR WHAT USAB TRIED TO DO TO TRAVIS ITS 100% GOOD FOR THEM THAT THEY DIDNT BRING HOME NO MEDALS.....THATS RIGHT!!!!! WHEN HISTORY BRINGS UP THIS TEAM TRAV NAME WILL ALWAYS BE MIXED UP IN IT. 0 MEDALS IN THE TRAVIS PETERKIN ERA. TRAVIS NAME LIGHTS UP IN THIS MEDAL-LESS ERA/ERROR IN 2012 AMATEUR BOXING. HIS NAME WILL ALWAYS COME UP IN IT. HE IS PART OF THE REASON USAB HAS 0 MEDALS. HE AND MANY OTHER DESERVING YOUNG BOXERS, BELIEVE THAT!!!! 0 MEDALS. REMEMBER THAT!!

ALOT OF PEOPLE ARE GONNA BLAME THE SCORING SYSTEM BUT THE KLITSCHKO'S HAVE RUN THE HVYWT CLASS WITH THEIR OWN SYSTEM OF SCORING. C'MON, FENCING AND THE BIATHALON GET MORE FUNDING THAN BOXING. A LOT OF KIDS WAS CHASED FROM THE SPORT AND ITS TOO LATE CAUSE NOW HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE WITH THIS. OUR TEAM HAS 0 MEDALS. THE WHOLE TEAM WAS BASICALLY GONE BY THE 1ST WK. SPENCE CAUGHT A GOOD BREAK OR THE ENTIRE BOXING TEAM WOULD HAVE BEEN RUNNING AROUND OLYMPIC VILLAGE FOR NEARLY A WEEK AND A HALF. THIS IS EMBARRASSING!!!!! OUR BOXING PROGRAMS, WHO THRU OUT THE DECADES HAS PRODUCED SOME OF THE GREATEST SPORTS PEOPLE EVER WILL BE TAINTED IN THIS ERA/ERROR OF BOXING. WE GOTTA HAVE THE RIGHT FIGHTERS, BOTTOM LINE!! THE BOXERS REGULAR COACHES FELT THEY COULD HAVE DID BETTER. ONE OLYMPIC COACH TOLD HIS BOXER TO TAKE IT TO HIS OPP. THE BOXER MOVED AROUND. THE SAME BOXER REGULAR COACH BLAMED THE OLYMPIC COACH. HE SAID HIS FIGHTERS A POWER PUNCHER. BOTH COACHES AGREED THE BOXER SHOULD HAVE STOOD HIS GROUND MORE, BUT IT WAS THE BOXERS CHOICE TO DANCE. CANT BLAME THE BOXERS OR COACHES. THE HIGHER UPS BLEW THIS ONE.

Actually, you posting in all caps makes it harder to read. Although had I known that I would actually be reading the Gospel of Travis Peterkin I may not have bothered in the first place.

OK, let me do this properly cause this is classic. First of all, I would like to thank you for even sayin Trav name. Don't care if you do or dont. At a Summer Slam rap concert, Jay-Z said "f*** 50 cent, I'm about a dollar". The crowd went crazy and it launched the career of then unknown rapper 50 cent. I like the quote "The Gospel of Travis Peterkin", haaaaa. I'll let fair be fair tho. CLARRISSA WON THE GOLD!!! GOD BLESS HER AND I AM PROUD................Gospel of Trav, haaaaa. Lovely!!

Probably the worst USA team in Olympic history. Boxing isn't dead in America, but it is on life support. At least though we know that Dominic Breazeale is gonna kick some serious ass in the pros :D

probably isnt the word. the 2012 mens boxing team will be stuck with that, cause its the 1st time this has happened, and the decline has been witnessed for awhile. and thats sad and im not happy about it either. we probably had the most talented boxers in the amateurs ever, cause the talent pool is and was so deep. so i mean the amount of young boxers a far as talent. more fighters than ever. we just couldnt live up to the standards of a ray leonard, a cassius clay. de la hoya did, many didnt think he would. but the golden boy truly turned out to be gold. and i dont buy that stuff with the lady in the hotel room neither. no men was in there claimin junk about him. oscar kicked a** and took names. aaron pryor was a bad MOTHER (shut my mouth)....all these young men fought for everything they had and didnt have, they had that hunger. these young men of today amateurs didnt have that hunger. they was spoiled, pampered. in other sports today, you can get away with that, but not in boxing. in the 40s and 50s, jewish people produced some great fighters. tony zale was one. these guys were hungry, in the gym everyday having sparring wars with the irish, the italians. MAN, i wish i could have seen those was in person. but the jewish culture switched from boxing to being doctors, lawyers, many jobs that is with the braintrust of our industries. they lost the hunger and slowly left the ring. they outside the ring calling shots now, haaaa. but god bless. we were deep in talent, but the leonards, clays, mayweathers, de la hoyas and pryors were MEN!! dont wanna talk about the funding cause when we had what was done with it? 0 medals DOES NOT sound like a good investment. im gonna say this AGAIN with no disrespect: take care your own IN your own country, then maybe you'll be taken care of outside of it!!!! cause historically that is what the 2012 class will be based on. you heard the saying "never send a woman to do a mans job"? we did!!Nuff Said.

people can say i get hard on my posts, but i do it cause it the truth. the 2012 olympic team had michael hunter and raushee warren, 2 guys who can probably fight on any olympic team ever assembled. 2 men who deserved better. i remember hunter almost getting caught up in the politics. in 2009 he fought lenroy thompson....i think. lenroys coach complained that hunters gauze was 4 inches 2 long, which is a disqualification. heres the catch: the coach was the guy in charge of the company selling the gauze at the tables. hunter won the match but had it taken away on a DQ. after a protest, they rescheduled the match for the next day and hunter won a 1st rd ko. if this happened in the olympics, the usa will be ranting for centuries. but it happened in the us, and that moment could have been the difference in hunter staying and going. the same tournament, they had a picture of a judge sleeping during a match. FUNDING RIGHT?? and people involved celebrate these tournaments after by hosting parties in their backyards with the bar-be-que pig head with the apple in its mouth. all the while, other countries medal up and trying to take over the pro sport as well. its life. stuff like this usually adds up to......0 medals. dont think they'll be introducing these guys at the next PPV fight like at the paquaio bradley fight.

Theses kids workedtheir tails off to make the team, no bums could've made the usa boxing team. So they came up short, I think it had more to do with other things that I will not comment on at this time

Why would the USA not want to send the best team possible to the Olympics? Were the boxers that went not the best USA has to offer? On the junior Level it seems the best kids win the tournaments, my kid is on the Jr level and all seems fair n square there to me

Things do seem a bit confusing as to exactly what tournaments get you directly to the Olympics. I hope they have it clearly mapped out in 2016
