Price bill more fights cancelled

Post by leforge »

After the Rose v Webb fight was cancelled. Steve Williams v Darren Hamilton and Dillian Whyte have been taken off the bill.

Rumours that Anwar v Miles will be too.

If the top three stay in, it'll still be a good card.

Any reason for them being taken off?

The main event is a big enough joke without the undercard falling through as well.

I was gutted when they announced harrison as the opponent as i've bought tickets for price's last three bouts but no way am i paying 40 nicker to watch audley shit himself and then get crucified in 2 rounds.

If rumours are to be believed they've got matt skelton lined up as the next opponent in dec which means it will be next year before i even consider going to watch price again :(

At the risk of playing devils advocate, this could have been a lot worse. Little Frank has taken the blame for it (on twitter he's admitted he got the sums wrong) and he's announced it over 3 weeks in advance. There's been a number of occasions in recent years where cards fell apart at the last minute amid rumour and gossip. A bit of respect is surely due for some openness and honesty that can sometimes be all too lacking.
