Kelcie Banks was 460-86 an amateur and Billy Bridges was 396-18...will any American amateurs ever compile records like this again???

Very doubtful. They don't make kids like they used to.

That's a lot of fights for a kid to have . In my humble opinion 80-120 is more than enough to get em ready for the pros if that's what the want to do

Lol. Won't happen. First of all it's hard for a lot of experienced boxers to get fights locally often. A lot of boxers have coaches that seem to think their record actually means something. IMO, you can't improve without experience. And who wants 500 fights as a amateur anyhow. Unless you are just so great, you don't get hit that's a lot of fights. . . .and if you are that great who are you boxing against? If you are competing nationally and internationally, that's a big investment (financially and timewise). I'm pretty sure all those guys with those ridiculous records are a thing of the past. Plus with no record keeping system, you can't really tell what anyones records are. It's funny how many pros all of a sudden win national amateur championships that no one but them remembers.

The records are really what the fighters team tells us once they become pros. I seriously doubt all those guys are being 100% honest with those crazy records like 250-5 or whatever. Having 300 plus Amatuer fights is just too many imo. Those punches add up n not in a good way. I saw a guy who was in.his early 30s but had 300 plus Amatuer fights and dude was walking like he was in his 80s

I believe Kelcie 100 pct...if u ever talk to him, he knows his record like the back of his hand...can tell u who he fought, where, when...details of the fights, etc...but I agree, some records are GROSSLY blown up

Kelcie's records does not seem to be an exaggeration . Dude had 500 plus fights that is just incredible. I like how some guys claim to be 250-5 or something like that. Unless you are a freak of Nature like Breland it would be extremly hard to get so many victories wit so little losses
