I found what's supposed to be Ramos last fight, but can't find the date.
The Ring, May 1977;
Monterrey, Nuevo Leon: Ruben Rivera, 176, iced veteran
Manuel "Pulgarcito" Ramos, 210, in the very first round. Ramos announced his retirement after the disaster.
Query; What date? Late 1976 or early 1977?

I'm sure, I've seen a bout for him in 1981 - I will double check when I can -

Have a look at the other bouts on the card of Ramos/Rivera and see if any of them are on boxrec - they might tie in.
