Carlos Palomino defending his welterweight title against some guy named Azcevedo (I think) back in the mid seventies. I wanted to beat up the referee for letting it go on. Made even worse because it was on CBS prime time on a week night and the undercard was excellent.

Michael Moorer v. Mike Evans was god-awful, especially after the fantastic fight between Kelley and Vargas on the undercard.

I caught up with Bailey-Jones last night, I nearly fell asleep by the third round. There were less than ten second of excitement in the 11 rounds.

Well, there were two KDs with counts, so there were more than ten seconds of excitement when you combine them.

The second one was waved off before the count finished, I imagine it's down as a TKO rather than a KO. The knockdowns were good, great straight right hand and uppercut to put him down for good, I just wish he'd have thrown them in the first.

Agree about wishing it had happened in the first. I think Bailey/Alexander will soon join this infamous list.

I never saw Tubbs/Page, from what Saad has said I gotta assume it's Byrd/Williamson except it was scheduled for 15 instead of 12...so it was 20% worse.
