Has Danny McIntosh got anything left to offer?
Has Danny McIntosh got anything left to offer?
He's changed trainers and now gone over to the Ukraine to spar with Cleverly's challenger.
Has he got anything left to offer? He's only been beaten by decent lads...

I think he will always have something to offer as he's a bit of a banger...could take a while to get him back to European level though

He's still only had 16 fights as a pro which isn't a lot considering what he's achieved and his level of opponents. Now that Bellew is well beyond domestic Mcintosh could get his chance at the Lonsdale.

I agree I can't argue against that, perhaps even a crack Ovil McKenzie, that will be a good little trade fight.damianhucker1 wrote:Pretty Much the same way i see it .ShadrachSimmo wrote:He's still only had 16 fights as a pro which isn't a lot considering what he's achieved and his level of opponents. Wasn't there rumours he was moving up and fighting Herbie Hide a while back
Re: Has Danny McIntosh got anything left to offer?
I think Macintosh is at the same level he has always been. A good solid British type level who could win the lonsdale belt depending on the talent pool in the devision.
Being honest he looked awful in winning the European title (although I take my hat off to him by all accounts he was feeling awful), he also didn't look great in defending it. I would say he was fortunate there was a pretty poor opponent against him as opposed to him being solid at European class.

would like to see him in with travis dickinson would be a cracking tear up which i can see travis winning by ko
Re: Has Danny McIntosh got anything left to offer?
Danny did a far better job on Joey Vegas than Cleverly did so he does have talent. If you take away the top domestic fighters (beyond Brit level), I think he's as good as anything that's left.
Re: Has Danny McIntosh got anything left to offer?
Of course he has. Outside of Clev and Bellew, he'd give any domestic light-heavy a real test. Losses shouldn't mean a fighter has nothing to offer, it should just be a sign that they are willing to take on decent opposition. Danny has yet to duck anyone it seems, which is increasingly rare.
Re: Has Danny McIntosh got anything left to offer?
He will fight tony dodson next, which will actually be a decent well matched fight.

Can't believe nobody has said 'Big Mac has had his chips' yet.
Poor form lads.
