Khan on Ringside.

Post by Eddy »

I never understood all the hate for Khan before, until tonight. He came across as a right fraggle on the show. Talking down to Kell Brook like he was in the pound for pound top four. He's lost his last 2 fights FFS!

What's with all this talking in the 3rd person? You just got ironed son!

It is pretty weird.

Seems like being part of the Pac camp has boggled his mind a touch. Someone who gets battered by Garcia cannot see himself as so much higher than the likes of Brook can he?

Right up him self eh? What really got me goat up was his subtle tactic to blame Freddie Roach on his losses. Pathetic!

Boxers who begin referring to themselves in the third person and transfer all guilt for their failings are usually headed for a knockout loss. It indicates a massively inflated ego and a completely lost grip on reality.

How many times must this get painted across the canvas before he learns some humility?

Used to wind me up how hatton would talk about himself as the third person.

I've seen some bad hate on khan, right from the start of his career .but he has lost a grip on reality & the fame has effected him for the worse.

Khan did himself no favours tonight that's for sure

It was bugging me how he was talking over brook everytime he spoke, if I wanted to see that I'd go and speak to the mother in law for ten min!

Yeah, Hatton didn't endear himself to me either when he began chatting about 'ickle Ricky' etc.

I like Khan and think he got a lot of unnecessary flak but now he is just doing himself no favours with all this latest chat. Seems like he sees himself as a major, major star in the sport, on a level with Floyd and co! Madness.

Brook should have said "You'll be looking for your fifth trainer after fighting me"

Still, it was entertaining.

That's her. No she was a mad Khan, posting all over the place on him - then her crush moved onto Brook after.

No Jessi, he just sacked him!

Him going on about or moaning being Freddy's number 2. He knew about this from day one. He got the best sparring in the world. A year or so ago, the Wildcard was the gym to go to. And Freddy was the hottest trainer around because he was with Manny. Hence the reason Khan went there.

Hasn't Brook already sacked the Ingles once - do go off with Dave Coldwell - and he was threatening to do the same after the Jones fight?
Boxers sack trainers, big deal, only one guy is in the ring taking the punches and they get only one career.

Eddy the topic you wrote was " khan on ringside "
The move from Freddie is history, you said he blamed him for his two losses in context to tonight's show, he said "I take full blame"

I saw on Sky Sports and I must admit it was only a 3 minute snippet but I would love to see it happen up at Welter as well with a world title or two on the line to make it more spicy, but we need to see Khan in a couple of fights at 147lb to how he stacks up though. When it happens I reckon Brook will beat him.
