Post by DavidPayne »

Read about this on SKY News expected a thousand theories and one-liners on here. And cannot find one line on it.

Its a lovely image.

Thats how i like to picture forum posters from "Back in the day" (Ben Carey especially)

Officially retired, sat by the fireside with a blanket and cup of warm Coco, occasionally returning for one last case.

A mixture of Colin Cowdrey and George Smiley.

We could make a quiz out of this: which of the "Back in the day" men is a mixture of Duncan Goodhew and Walter Mitty?

Is "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" worth reading?

It's only a four or five page short story, mate, so reading it is no great sacrifice in time, 15 minutes tops. Is it good? Not overly.
Yes, just read it.

Strike that one off the list.

Next up is Don Quixote
