That stinks. I've set it to record via Eurosport 2 as advertised.

People have gave allegedly some stick about shows running over the advertised broadcast time however this is a shocker from Eurosport.

Boxrec reported last week:

Promoter Mickey Helliet hopes a million fight fans will watch his next show. Helliet has announced a double bill of championship boxing at the Camden Centre on Friday, October 5.

Wayne Alwan-Arab (pictured) and Matty Tew both battle for belts and Eurosport’s cameras will be there to beam all the action into homes across Europe."

Good luck with that then

It was scheduled for 8pm, which changed to 8.10pm, which changed to 8.45pm before it disappeared and at that stage it wasnt listed as being on Eurosport 1. I gave up.

No mention of it, I missed the first 45 mins only switched over to Eurosport 1 while channel hopping. The programme lists never got updated.

Fellas, I'm sorry a lot of you missed it. I have no idea why the channels switched like that? The actual show wasnt bad. There were a few cracking scraps on there. We got to see some good action. Elliott Matthews/Dragomir Totev and Warren Fenn/Arthur Geikins were both absolute wars that had most of those in attendance on the edge of their seats throughout, both total slugfests!

Tony Owen put in a career best performance in whacking his opponent with a crippling body shot.

Just my bad luck that a lot of this was onlyu for those in attendance or those who managed to find it on the alternative channel.

Nordic Eurosport showed the card as planned, 4 fights were shown:
Owen vs Vakhtangasvili
Alwan-Arab vs Sutidze
Ahrens vs McCauley
Bruun vs Mitev

Was a decent show. Fenn lost by a sickening K.O. Good crowd packed into a cosy venue and great atmosphere.

What a nightmare that was. I was going to watch & looked through myself & saw that the schedule had disappeared. I didnt even bother to check whether the listings were wrong. I will see if there are any repeats planned.

Not your fault at all. Live sport can be a broadcasters nightmare. Not the first time Eurosport have done this type of thing. A few weeks back the snooker over ran by about 20 minutes, with the next programme being Bigger's Better. When the snooker finished we joined Bigger's Better in the middle of the second fight on the card :x Seems Eurosport are stuck between a rock and a hard place. I just feel there must be something they can do to handle this type of thing better in future.

I'll catch the show if and when Eurosport repeat it. Managed to avoid spoilers so far! Seems the show was well received by those who managed to catch it last night. Looking forward to it.

I agree with that. Why bother taking the card on in the first place and then mess around the hard work of Mick and his team. Eurosport jokers.

Happens all the time, probably every day. I try and tune into something and it's just not there or miles out. I know they get excellent numbers for snooker so that takes precedence.
