The Walsh brothers from Cromer

Post by rhino222 »

I am sure these fellas were with FW. Have i missed a trick here, they seem to now be plying their trade under other promoters!

Liam is still contracted to FW - for 4 more fights I believe. Michael and Ryan are now free agents after deciding not to renew their contracts with FW. They are currently working alongside a different promoter to promote their small hall fights in Norwich.

Hope that helps.

I have absolutely no idea where you would have got the idea that they are fighting in America :-? Michael and Ryan are scheduled to fight early Nov in Norwich and Liam is hoping to be back in the ring by the end of Nov.

Talented fighters, but I think with them the sum is worth more than the individual parts - really loyal fans and need to stick together for that reason.

A promoters dream as a three - they won't be short of offers.

I very surprised that Warren got rid of two of them.

I cannot see Liam sticking around much beyond his 4 fights he has left (unless offered something he cannot refuse).

Having said that, I never thought I would hear the day when Matthew Hatton declares himself a free agent and not part of Hatton promotions.
