Satchell/Edwards could be a decent little scrap, thought Satchell was impressive last time and am thinking he might have got Chris at the right time. Could see Satchell winning this one via pts or perhaps even a late stoppage due to accumulation/cuts. Always loved Chris Edwards though, always in great shape and gives it absolutely everything, great pro.

Dickinson/McPhilbin. Fancy JLD here as the better boxer but the first few rounds will be a danger to him, Shane can bang a bit and surely this has to be his aim as I am not sure he would be
able to win on the cards.

Looks a decent bill to me and the Liverpool lads have had plenty to choose from lately for live shows.

i cant believe maloney pulled the plug on williams vs hamilton and the reason was he couldnt afford it? well why throw a bid in for a fight that you cant afford,no wonder sky dropped him advertising shows and then the fights arnt on the shows. i would of thought the bbb of c would of had to check managers/promotors bank accounts to see if they have the money to fund fights that they bid for. no wonder boxing is going to the dogs.

So this bright spark believes promoters should put fights on shows to lose money, that very good , when you only got a few tv dates you have to make sure they paid there way like any other business . I was hoping to get more dates and am still in talks with a tv station. If not this fight will take place on our next show. Do not see to many other promoters jumping up and down to stage this fight right now. People have to relies that the face of pro boxing is changing.I had a date for Nov9 for this fight by the wayu but one of the fighters was going to be away i was told.

I know you got to run a business and balance the books just abit gutted it was dropped that's all no disrespect,you are one of the top promoters in Britain and I shouldn't put you down I apologise,keep up the good work frank and will look forward to this fight on another maloney promotion

Yes you are right there was 2 other bids for this fight one at £16,000 and one less and i won it with a small bid for a british title so it show you how the fees in boxing are dropping. And the fight was offer to the second bid promoter who said they could not stage the fight now. So by us putting the fight on the fighters are going to still get paid more. There are so many fights of the night on this card Dickinson title, Edwards title the final elm. Price vs Harrison how many 12 rounds can you get on in a set time.And let me tell you a fighter has pull on Sunday night with out a sick note just said he does not want to box any more ( is not one of the title fights and we have to get his tickets back and get things work out with his oppent.)These are the things promoters have to put of with what you fan,s never hear about.

i know the fees are dropping and its all due to the tv company,its a joke really they drop yourself and hatton but put the nfl on? who in britain watches nfl over boxing,and i wonder how much they had to fork out for that sport and then formula one i hear they payed through the roof to get that. the boxing fan is suffering in this country and the tv company still charges through the roof then you have to subscribe to mr warrens channel too so the boxing fan will have to pay well over 100 quid per month just to watch the sport he loves,can you imagine if the football fan got this done to them? like i said i meant no disrespect

i thought exactly the same or even remove two or three of the undercard fights. williams wont need a 6 rounder to shake the ring rust off he can do that in the first 2 rounds of this fight
