As many of you will be aware i run Unlicensed / Semi pro / white collar shows , whatever you want to call them .

Anyway ive just been offered a fighter for my next show , i wouldnt normally go as far as saying on here but its so rediculous that it brings the trainers reputation down to such a low its absurd .

(unnamed Trainer X) , has provided me with boxers several times but none of them stick with and usually go to another gym when they realise hes a bit off the wall.

Well (x) has just got in touch with me saying hes got an ex pro Boxer available , didnt mention any names , but said " hes recently done 2 kickboxing bouts and is in shape but theres a snag " , now obviously i wanted to know this snag before the conversation went any further , to which (x) went on to say "it shouldnt really be a problem but he lost his arm , he has one missing "

I didnt want to have a go at him so just laughed it off as a joke but hes now just text me to ask if i can sort it .

Obviously ive not even entertained the idea and its ludicrous to believe anyone would , hence why ive decided to not shy away from naming on here that it was (x) who said this as in my view why should anyone trust him to train them if he would gladly put a "one armed man " in the ring , its crazy .

Whilst on the Subject anyone have any idea who this ex pro would be ? , im not aware of any ex pro whos lost an arm .

This Tony guy sounds like a real one armed bandit. You should be able to get this fighter cheap though. Some people want an arm and a leg to step into a ring.

Very true, i've no doubt the lad is tough (or mad), but you'd never live it down losing to him.
