It looked like Hearns was finished before this fight. His punch resistance appeared to be gone. I thought he had no chance. As did Ray else he’d never have signed for it.

In both fights you mention I thought Tyson and Leonard were going to cruise past guys who were essentially finished.

I picked him to beat Tyson long before he was even a Heavyweight. No way I was backing down then. I got a call from a dude that I used to argue with about it in High School after the fight. My roommate and I got a keg and only let two other Evander fans watch it with us. People were showing up and banging on our door because we always had the fights and we wouldn't let them in.
