Future for Crolla

Gallagher has got to go if Crolla is going to go past domestic level.

He fought like an utter retard against Mathews, and PF ought to have been an opportunity to get himself back on track.

Instead, we saw the same flaws that got him knocked out against Derry.

It's only a matter of time before a Gallagher fighter gets badly hurt. The style they're trying to use is dangerous.

I think crolla has a decent style he just sometimes gets involved in a fight when he doesn't need to, I think he is a good boxer and you cant say gallgher is to blame cause it wasn't that long ago the whole of Britain was raving about his record of 40 odd fights without loss with all his fighters. I think crolla has believed his own hype over the past 18 months with wins over watson lamond and a win in the states and this has made him a bit complaisant,he is still a class boxer and with a few minor adjustments he will come good again,he just needs to learn to handle a pressure fighter, I thought he would of learned with john murray being in the gym.

Think he should drop back down to super feather and maybe try working with bobby rimmer??

Palooka - Ricky's performances at Lightweight have been very good - but lets not forget, he did win the WBO Super Featherweight title beating the number 1 fighter in the devision at the time. That is still his best win of his career..... these were after bad losses to Johannson and Arthur at Super Feather.

I think Crolla boxes similarly to Stephan Smith; they are fantastic to watch and could be exhibits for how to move and throw a punch correctly. When Crolla gets a strong, hard lad with ambition throwing back- after 3 rounds he is in trouble and he seemsto lack the 'man strength'; he still looks very 'boyish' to me; too easily bullied ad forced about.

I think Crolla has a great future, he just needs to use his skills and not get mixed up in a tear up. I think he has a very good chin as well. He just needs the right fights for now, do a bit in Europe or get on an international bill, if all goes well with Hatton comeback.
