'Boxing Action - The Voice of Boxing'? That is one of the strangest sites I've seen in a while.

So basically FW used the FLB for the purpose of putting the Upton Park show on then did a separate deal with the Board and fvcked the FLB over. I'm shocked, I truly am..........

There's too many of these tinpot 'opinion sites', who don't go out and do proper reporting like visiting fighters and trainers in the gyms or go to the small hall fights.dondada wrote:'Boxing Action - The Voice of Boxing'? That is one of the strangest sites I've seen in a while.

Looks that way but I am not surprised by anything anymore in the game but really the board need to make public exactly what has gone on

Sounds like more "behind closed doors" shenanigans. And the Board wonder why people think they are corrupt.spudder56 wrote:The Insider wrote:So basically FW used the FLB for the purpose of putting the Upton Park show on then did a separate deal with the Board and fvcked the FLB over. I appreciate little sites want a few hits, but it shows they don't have the finger on the pulse because this very website put the article up several days ago. It was debated and is now fish and chip wrappers.

I thought it was some kind of new twist but it was so badly written, I couldn't really get the jist, even though I tried a few times.G0mez wrote:I appreciate little sites want a few hits, but it shows they don't have the finger on the pulse because this very website put the article up several days ago. You're right spudder. Thing is the BBBoC came out publicly with all of these strong pronouncements and since they've said absolutely f**k all. Once again it's an utter PR disaster and, as The Insider correctly points out, it lends itself to all sorts of accusations.spudder56 wrote:The Insider wrote:So basically FW used the FLB for the purpose of putting the Upton Park show on then did a separate deal with the Board and fvcked the FLB over. WTF went on? In fact, WTF goes on with all the little clandestine hearings they have?

I spoke to the Board yesterday about an unrelated matter and dropped "how's things" in the conversation but everyone is being tight lipped but it was clear the legal process isn't over.

I dont believe the Luxembourg board can sue the BBBoC anyway .
The board are basically a private members club , they accept who they want , they didnt prevent Luxembourg from trading in the UK despite the fact they didnt condone it .
If i start a swingers club and only invite boxrec members to join ,and then the members of eastside forum started their own club i couldnt say a thing but i could expel anyone from mine who attended the other one (if i had it in my rules that they had to be exclusiive to me , as i believe is the case with the board)
ok maybe a swingers club is an extreme idea but you get my point , its an exclusive members only club .
it would be different if it was a government supported board like the FA as then boxing would be illegal without the boards support , in that instance Luxembourg could sue under restriction of trade laws within the EU .
I could start my own pro board , bbboc couldnt stop me .
