Price in 4 rounds. Harrison is the scapegoat of British Boxing. He won't like me saying that but to steal money from the Beeb and single handedly drive them away from boxing is some achievement in a "stellar" career!

Don't get me wrong mate, I'm not convinced by Price yet. Even though Frank Maloney told me he's gonna be a world champion.

I just think he'll walk through Harrison. I think Price will hurt him with the first solid punch he lands and Harrison won't throw anything back. Price won't go crazy and throw loads of punches straight away, but he will land a lot of punches and the ref will call it off. That's just my opinion mate, but hey, we'll find out on Saturday.
Yup as ive said the sensible bet would be price, however i think as always its the IF factor with harrison. IF he fights to his ability he has shown he can have flashes of brilliance eg last gasp ko of sprott (one armed), the second williams fight, prize fighter. He has moments he just never seems to hold the run. As a fan im hoping he can put it together for two fights and accomplish something that gains back his credibility in pro boxing before he bows out, i think he is capable of it if he doesnt choke.

I hope your man turns up and gives it 100%. Although take no notice of me. I think Fury is a future world champion and Povetkin beats Wlad.

Harrison will win this by KO.

There. I said it.

I knew before Bute fought Froch that Froch would KO Bute. Having seen the footage of Bute on jelly legs against Andrade.

Having seen Price against Camarelle, some indian dude, and also heard stories of him being dropped by a 17 year old Tyson Fury and others - the guy has the same kind of chin as Bute and Khan.

Basically when a 6'6, 17 stone+ guy like Audley lands flush Price isn't going to recover and that is a fact.

The only question therefore is if Price can take out Harrison before he lands.

I don't think he will.

With the greatest of respect to David Price [and he does seem like a solid pro with an amazing work ethic] he absolutely isn't David Haye. He seems slower than Audley and less mobile in all honesty.

Harrison wins by an unlikely KO - put money on it, the odds are fantastic :TU:

I doubt many heavyweights would take a flush shot on the button from Audley, but Audley is unlikely to land that shot when he is cowering in the corner of the ring looking for the nearest exit.

some people really are utter mugs

harrison is not going to even try to win this one. this isnt his last chance. hes already had loads of "last chances". he loses this and he can fight fury next on channel 5 or chisora or mcdermott in a "last chance saloon" fight. with audley, there will always be "last chances". hes not taking it seriously, hes lost his passion (no matter what he says) and he will get knocked out by a right hand

Why? Still don't understand why people say 'Oh, Audley is a big puncher IF he can land it'. The only real power he ever showed was in the 12th vs a gatekeeper in Michael Sprott who had been dropped many times before.

Other than him, he has bowled over a few stiffs, and laboured in stopping many of them. Remember Audley's long struggle to dispatch Tomas Bonin, a man Haye blew away in seconds in his first HW fight? His points decision vs Ratko Draskovic, subsequently iced in 1 by Matt Skelton? I really could go on.

Audley never had anything. FACT!

My point was that any 18 stone heavyweight can land a bomb and knock a fighter out. I'm saying any big heavyweight should have enough pop to hurt his opponent, but that isnt what gets the job done... which is why, as you point out, he doesnt have the record of a puncher.

You're right check hook, in that many men would be KOd when an 18st heavyweight boxer lands flush on them. But then if audley was fighting wladamir name one boxing enthusiast that would give you a thousand pound of their money on that basis. Granted price is not wladamir, but audley didn't look great against adams, has talked about retirement in the run up, has folded before and being a realist Price does (chin aside) look the real deal. He probably thuds harder than haye in the sense that his jab is probably heavier and thrown more often than hayes. Other than a schoolboy error from Price I just don't see what audley will bring other than his name. Price KO as soon as he lands, just hope price doesn't try to carry it for the crowd and get caught. Because basically as soon as he lands its over, yet these scousers have paid cash to see a fight not a steam rolling.

Don't get paid for overtime David.

Harrison was scared stiff of haye, I think he will freeze yet again and get taken out early, we will learn no more about price apart from he can punch ! Hope I'm wrong and he gives David a test.

Audley is a man who never ages according to some. I love how people say he's faster than Price - how can we really judge if 40 year old Harrison still has the same reflexes, can still pull the trigger (even if he wanted to) and has the same snap of old.

He landed 1 jab against Haye and he was losing against Ali Adams until he landed. It looked okay when he landed, but please take into account the level of opposition.

Its as if ALL Audley's problems lie in with his heart, bottle and mentally. Audley is now in his 40's. Even if a miracle happend and it all clicked - he is now at an age where physically he cannot do the things he used to do when he turned pro at 28.

The balance, the speed, the engine, the punch resistance - cannot be quite the same as what it was in his prime.

For one... Froch had a MUCH MUCH MUCH higher chance of beating Bute when Harrison does Price. Two Bute has a great chin, he took fornicating hundreds of bombs and still got up, anyone wouldv'e eventually gone down. Three... no

Does anyone think the outcome of the Harrison v Haye fight would have been any different in Price had been in the ring with haye instead? id still put money on a haye ko in 3.

I have just wrote an article on it for Saddo Boxing, and when you sit down and really, really think about it, is actually alot tougher fight to pick when you look at their strengths and weaknesses etc.. We all know that Harrison has the edge in experience and has been with a higher level of opposition in his rather frustrating 12 year professional career while Price is seen as the coming man with the knockout real and Bomber hailing him as the heir to the Klitchsko throne. But Harrison is a good counterpuncher with a longer reach and a fair whack on his punches that could turn the fight on it's head so Price has absolutely got his game plan spot on with this otherwise he could be in for a very rough night which mayanswer alot of questions regarding his chin and stamina as Price has yet to go past 7 rounds. But for me Price will spend a couple of rounds trying to land that jab on Harrison and if he can get that jab going I reckon he will wear down and stop Harrison in the mid to later rounds.
