WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE DAVID PRICE FIGHT NEXT?
I want to feel out Boxrec. Who do you ideally want Price in with next?
My pick is Fury for Christmas, anyone in the top 10 for 2013.

clearly Fury but clearly he'll shit himself. Fury just showed he was aggitated by Price's devestation.

Chisora counts as top 10 surely?
You don't jump over Chisora simply because you haven't lost when all you've fought is bums and he's been mixing it with the big boys.

Who do I think he will fight next: Wladimir Klitschko, who do I want him to fight next: Tyson Fury to shut him up.

Love it to be Fury but can't honestly see it happening just yet.
It appears Skelton is lined up but like tonight it just doesn't appeal to me and I fear another foregone
Conclusion.
Chisora would be a better and more credible option.

Skelton is a ridiculous opponent and a complete waste of time. The man has been past it since his Chagaev challenge and although he is a very hard man he is too old to be fighting Price. It's a guaranteed quick, waste of time KO that teaches Price nothing.

I agree with most people.... Chisora is the fight!

This is somewhat speculative, but from what I've seen Price must be the hardest punching heavyweight in the world, or at least as hard punching as Wladimir. Opinions?
Re: WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE DAVID PRICE FIGHT NEXT?
I'd like to see him fight Fury next, but realistically there is no chance that fight happens before xmas. If I want to see Price fight before xmas, and I do, then Skelton fits the bill, so long as his next fight is a step up into European class.
Re: WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE DAVID PRICE FIGHT NEXT?
He should fight Fury next. Price wants it, so does fury (apparently). But I doubt it gets made at this stage in their careers. No doubt it'll get made in a few fights time if both fighters keep progressing the way they are.
At this present time David Price Knocks out Fury in under 6 rounds.

Very possibly. He certainly looks to club with a lot more weight than Vitali. Bad business by Audley, in hindsight he should've fought Tyson Fury who doesn't appear to punch his weight and is easier to hit in the mush. Oh well.Riddick Blowe wrote:This is somewhat speculative, but from what I've seen Price must be the hardest punching heavyweight in the world, or at least as hard punching as Wladimir. Opinions?
I'd still assume David Haye hits hardest and most correctly in the world - you have to assume Audley has aged and deteriorated since Hayemaker needed about 20 or 30 hard shots to make him go away.

Travis Walker.
Re: WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE DAVID PRICE FIGHT NEXT?
Bob the Builder in a good old fashioned tradesman's punch up!
Re: WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE DAVID PRICE FIGHT NEXT?
I'd really like to see him in with Cris Arreola. Arreola fights are always fun, he is a known quantity but hasn't been beaten by both or more than once by The Brothers. Also his weight is down and everyone feels that he is taking boxing more seriously now and should be a better fighter than when Vitali fought him. If not him Seth Mitchell or Helenius.
Re: WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE DAVID PRICE FIGHT NEXT?
Price is about 30 now and must be nearing his peak, if he is not ready for world class now he never will be.
Fury still has time for development, he has improved a lot in the last 2 years

Bit irritated that my poll thread has been sullied by a needless second and quite trollish Price/Skelton poll. Mods?
Glad to see sanity is prevailing as far as the opponent goes. Nobody wants Skelton in there.

As for the original poll I would like to see him in with Kevin Johnson. Tough nut who will give him some rounds and give him something to think about. Kevin could stick around long enough to land something and answer the chin question.
Re: WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE DAVID PRICE FIGHT NEXT?
I am happy for him to fight Skelton but I think the real question is the next three or four fights, he's building experience to fight for a world title, a quick make time fight would be good and Skelton is likely to extend him, certainly more than his last one, then I'd like him to fight one of the better end of European fighters, if not Pulev perhaps Robert Helenius - tall riged style good practice for a Klitschko but totally beatable, or Edmund Gerber who just beat Sprott and has been well protected thus far.

Re: WHO DO YOU WANT TO SEE DAVID PRICE FIGHT NEXT?
None of those guys will want the fight.
Heavyweight is full of these fornicating useless fringe prospects who are scared stiff of taking a risk.
The only ones who will take the fight are folks who have no other options like Harrison and Skelton (old) or Sexton (not old, but limited and nowhere else to go) and trial horses looking for a payday.
In the absence of a competitive fight I want to see a decent trial horse, someone like Jovo Pudar or Dominic Guinn. Price is going to have to fight these guys to keep busy because he just won't be able to find opponents otherwise.
