Rios managing ti block the jab again. They start trading a bit. Both are tired with bursts of energy. They trade and Avarado is hurt but he comes back. Close round 6 i give to Rios.

58-56 Rios

Rios KO 7. I've felt that Alvarado had some Cintron in him.

He should've went down, he looked like hell. Rios has great killer instinct when he has his man hurt.

Poor Alvarado was being spoken to in Spanish by the ref and was like "No, in English"

reading their stats rios had 275 amatuer fights, alvarado like 40 amatuer fights didn't start fighting until 20 , Alvarado had the size advantage though, but Rios will and offensive technique took the day, although it was was touch and go for awhile there for Rios..

That's what I'm always referring to when I talk about a lot of these high-level pros not overdraining themselves, the 3-8 lbs of leeway between divisions makes a big difference to how healthy they are on fight night.

Wow, the ref actually giving an interview. Giving a good argument as to why he stopped it, especially because from the stands and tv it's a lot harder to directly judge how hard a man is being hit because when you're in the ring you can feel and hear the thuds

Matthysse would kill Rios. He's simply too big and hits too hard for Rios to employ his brawl tactics.

Did Max just say Darchinyan had a "tremendous knockout win on Boxing After Dark a couple weeks ago"?
