It would be nice to see DG get that loss avenged but I don't really think he should be wasting his window of opportunity on Mundine. I realise it will make him a lot of money but I don't think it does too much for his career at this point.
Hopefully Geale can knock him over in convincing fashion if they do fight as I would not like to see a trilogy...
I Thought the first fight was one of the best domestic(world Class still) fights i've had privelledge to see last decade, and defiantly up there for me all time.
If this is good as the first,Meh! I'll welcome 3

True, it was a terrific fight, along with N'dou v Rabah, the best all Aussie fight I have seen. Though every time I watch it, Geale wins

Funny, Mundine in an interview just recently and said he "pumped Geale the first time and would pump him again". I don't know what the point of that sort of saying shit is? It was a close fight, period.
i wouldnt expect anything else from the clown. Fact is he was dam lucky to get the W, Geales KD was not scored. Not to mention the rubbish with the tape and the apparent intimidation of officials

The result could probably have gone either way. The tape thing was absolutely disgraceful. Should never have been allowed to keep happening.

Im not going to make the trip for Green v Cameron, just piss poor timing. But Geale v Mundine in Jan 2013 I probably would. As for Choc v Green in 2013.....doubt thats gonna happen.
It still sticks in Mundine's craw that he only held the compensation "regular" WBA super Middleweight titles when Kessler and Calzaghe were the Super (read real) champions.
I read about it on fightnews, the IBF gave him (Geale) what he wanted and that was a rematch with Choc, For this to happen surely Soliman would have been paid off??.
I didn't want to see this fight to be honest, however, I understand and respect why Geale took this fight.
1. Big money fight while Martinez heals up.
2. Set right the controversial decision from the first fight.
3. With a decisive win over Mundine, hopefully the general public will get behind him here in Australia, making him more attractive to the promoters and networks over the pond.
I feel for Soliman, but I wish Geale all the best. I hope it is a crushing defeat that lifts him to new heights at home, and sends Mundine quietly into retirement.
