He's marked pretty bad. Still 12 rounds won't do him any harm so long as he wins. How that guy hasn't been docked points or James hasn't been cut with his Bradleyesque use of the head I don't know!!

Spent too much time on the ropes where his defence wasn't brilliant.

Can't wait to see Eubank Jr in with some decent British guys. He's certainly taking this game seriously.

I think it will come crashing down once he steps up. I don't see what the, admittedly, lubed up, commentators see.

Seems to lack pop. Early days though obviously. Will be a good story to follow.

I've just realised Monty Panesar's ringside. I want him to jump in the ring and do his jumping high 5's to Eubanks when he wins. That would be funny.

They mentioned he left the arena and he was alright. No interview though.

I ended up putting money on Nishioka for an accumulator so watched it with the UFC.

I thought Nishioka could spring the upset with the form he's been in and with how easily he dominated Munroe. How wrong was I?

Nishioka started off slow, never dropping his right hand so to avoid Donaire's big left hook. Looked like Nish had a gameplan but 6 rounds through he'd still not thrown anything and Donaire was winning each round.

When Nish finally decided to open up, Donaire found his target and it was gameover. The stoppage was premature in my eyes because he looked alright but then again you can't really tell with Nish's eyes if he's akip or not.

Quite simply put, Donaire is something special.

What would you have him do, rush in all guns blazing with a puncher??

He did what he had to do and sometimes that what you have to do.

Dolan, Askin, Burton and Mcphillbin - good 4 wins in a row now

Conquest next
If he can't go through the gears and take a few risks against McPhilbin then he isn't very good.

I hope he loses against his next opponent.
I agree it wasnt very good - which cruiserweight in britain will beat JLD??
