It was Chisora's career heaviest weight! How can you say he wasn't out of shape? In the fight directly after Fury he was 20lbs lighter! That win on Fury's record means absolutely nothing.
Price destroys Fury, possibly in one round. Fury's like a rabbit in headlights when someone lays it on him, and Price would lay it on him big time.

I think it is a case of who lands first wins. I do feel Fury has the better chin, but if McDermott can hurt him and he has also tasted the canvas (quite hard) against far far lesser punchers than Price.
I aint convinced about Price's chin, never will be I don't think.
So its a case of who lands first.... seeing these two in action I think there is only one outcome to that question - its got to be Price and early. Better defence, but hand speed, better in every way really. In addition, but a critical thing a more solid attitude to the sport. His weight is consistent (not like Fury), he is focused and stoney faced... Fury seems to be more interested in hogging the Mic and laughing and joking in the ring.
There are similarities to Haye vs Maccarinelli here, I think in terms of raw talent there is a gulf in class and like Haye, Price will do a number on his opponent.
If a big fat Chisora, literally obese looking, fought David Price, it would be over in less than three rounds. Where as Fury could only beat him on points.
Fury couldnt knock out McDermott in their first fight, Price destroyed him and would have destroyed him if they fought in 2009.
Fury is no match for Priceys power, it will be a good fight and Fury will be Prices best opponent by far, but Fury should stick to Maddalone etc. As Price is definitely going to k.o him if they ever fight.

There is a surprising amount of love for Tyson on here, and I'm not sure I get it.
He's only really looked impressive in spurts in his career so far and he seems to be treading water at the moment with his run of opposition. If a non-puncher like Pajkic can knock him down what would one of Price's big rights do to him?
It's probably a fight best saved for a few years down the line when one or both has picked up a world title (in the post-Klitschko era that should be simple enough) and Fury has demonstrated a bit more in-ring maturity than I have seen to date.

Exactly.
And Price has conisderably more power than Fury. End of the day he destroys fighters in a few rounds that Fury would take longer or even fail to k.o.
Pricey wont struggle with Fury. It will be a decent fight though, Fury wont roll over, he'll have a good go.

Fury wins quite clearly in my eyes if he waits 15 months and continues to pack on muscle and experience.
Price's chin has yet to be tested in the pros. But was found wanting in the amateurs.
And most significantly a chubby, muscle free Fury put Price on the floor for a count in the only time they fought.
And stamina: Fury as he has been 12 rounds with Chisora, 10 with McDermott in their first fight and 9 in their second fight. Price has yet to go past the 7th round.
If Price is any hand as a plumber he should move over here to Canada. Plumbers drive fancy cars and live in big houses.
As for this proposed confrontation, didn't Price get bowled over in the amatoors by Canada's Bermane Stiverne? And the Canadian champ Neven Pajkic came within a whisker of knocking out Fury. I think they'll both swing at the same time and knock each other out.
I don’t know I favour Price as he simply hits harder, Fury is technically better although he will go down in this fight and it’s whether he can get back up.
Price is the classier of the fighters but he's not been 'in the trenches' to paraphrase the Cobra.
Not to say Fry has particularly but when he's been in a pickle he has always got himself out of it. I like Fury as limited as he is, he has a lot of heart when it comes to fighting and although Price has the class and temperament Fury can definitley knock him out of that stride and then we will see what Price is made of. For all we know he may freeze or panic, he could be a Bruno in that repsect (sorry Frank). There is a lot to say for will to win in a fighter, Carl Froch being a great example, without Carl's unrelenting will to win he doesn't quite have the all round skills to be a WC but he is one.
