I'd had a bad morning at work and a street in Doncaster had been taped off, (one strip, across the road, fire engine parked up) I spoke to the shop keeper who I know and he said that an extension lead had popped with some smoke, no fire. I was done at work and was going for my backpack and bike. I ducked under the tape and the fireman was putting more tape cross the road and shouted right loud, 'Get back, get back; can't you see what we're doing?' I felt really embarassed and couldn't think of anything to say so I shouted, 'fornicate off' and ducked under the tape and got my bike etc. Felt proper bad after.

They had a photo and write up in the local paper; the fireman who was ikcking off had a jacket on that said 'Incident Command' on the back. I'm glad you laugh coz it's made me laugh about it; I felt horrible for a couple of days :TU:

Any of the last half dozen British Cruiserweight title fights could win this one.

I'd completely forgot about that. One of the judges gave it a draw too didn't they?

I remember as a youth waiting for Tyson-Spinks and watching Trevor Berbick - Carl Williams. It was fornicating awful.

Yep. IIRC the ref gave them more than one warning to step it up, but I think the perception is that Sprott was more to blame. Should have been a No Contest IMO, No Contest, No Pay.

David Haye v Ismail Abdoul. Up to that point Haye all his wins were knockouts so I was expecting him to balst this guy out. Haye admitted later he went 12 rounds on purpose.

I was actually at this fight. We were all about to die of boredom when a hundred meters or so to my left Tyson Fury ripped off his shirt and challenged Chisora in front of him, momentarily awakening the crowd and causing some excitement.

Funny as at separate points I thought both Mutley and Gavin had something going for them.

Tyson - Bonecrusher.

Followed the Berbick / Witherspoon demolitions, looked like guaranteed fireworks, was utter shite.

Remember that fight. Awful fight, glad Small lost his title next fight and has thankfully disappeared off boxing radars. He is thoroughly not missed.

Was it Thomas McDonagh vs Wayne Alexander (I think it was on the undercard of a big bill.... it might have been Calzaghe vs Lacy) - horrible fight.

Yeah some stinkers at Cruiserweight recently also.

Williams vs Skelton 2 was horrible, SKELTON looked fleet footed next to Williams that night.

On the box most Johnny Nelson fights. Live it has to be Small v McDonagh that was truly awful.
