BN schedule update

Post by earsjohn »

The channel has just announced a load of new foreign fights that will be broadcast, including some crackers that I'm really looking forward to....

Cotto v Trout
Guerrero v Berto
DeMarco v Broner
Huck v Arslan
Bogere v Abril

These are added to the existing fights:

Morales v Garcia II
Lebedev v Jones
Mares v Moreno / Cleverly v Coyne

Shows up their domestic fare as little lacking though...

Witter v Gavin
Enzo v Ovill / Butler v Donnelly
Burns/Groves/Saunders v TBA
Flintoff debut

No confirmation that they are showing Price v Skelton though.

Some very tasty foreign fights mixed in with the uninspiring domestic match ups.

Is that Roy or Guillermo fighting Lebedev?

Miss Jones from Rising Damp would have more of a chance against Lebedev than the shell of RJJ.

Do we really need to see it again?
One of the biggest mindfucks in recent boxing history is how RJJ seemed to avoid big punchers when he was in his prime and had some of the best reflexes of all time, but now he is old and shot, it seems like he can't wait to get knocked out again and is even willing to travel for the privilege

Just seen leforge's post
Thank fcuk for that

Wasn't RJJ, was the never boxes, Welter turned Cruiser, Don King promoted Panamanian version, and said DK has found him a soft gig at home instead. No surprises there then, WBA just inching back into the lead of joke major world title, just ahead of the IBF, WBO and WBC leaving only............oh, wait a minute :o

Certainly did a mate of mine who was going to subscribe for the Price fight only to be told he had to pay an extra tenner. He said, no thanks, that's a few pints and an Indian lol Must be plenty of others in the same boat. My mate would've probably kept it for a good few months too, so the signing on fee is a very bad idea in my book.

Some good cards added up to Christmas though. I'm glad I subscribed.

Is this your opening gambit to position yourself as a possible replacement for Simon Green?
Well now you've put me forward...

G.Jones is an absolute joke, he went a full two years without a title defence and still managed to keep his title, now ducks the 'interm' title holder but still manages to keep his title! I guess the WBA being based in Panama has nothing to do with it

That's not even the height of it, they've passed Cox, Jones jnr and Toney as Lebedev's opps for his everlasting 'interim' belt. All the governing bodies are clowns, it's just they each seem to select a couple of specific weight classes to really f**k about in.

Plus Magee v Kessler I reckon. Price is happening. The overseas line up is very good.
