I've only seen Peter fight the once and wasn't impressed at all.

Mind I've never been that impressed with Wlad either although he was beginning to look a bit more accomplished around the time he was bashing up Mcline and Mercer.

From the limited footage I have seen of Peter he looks bad enough to be well beaten by Wlad, but then again people said Wlad looked pretty shaky against Brewster, shot even?

By all accounts Samuel Peter is very good in training, doesn't go out partying , shows in his physic this time.
I'm still going to go for Wlad in this one, but it is going to be very interesting fight to watch.

One question for you all, seeing as Vitali is WBC champion , what would happen if Wlad was rated No1?

The sanctioning vermin have scuttled up to the plate and made this an IBF and WBO eliminator, so I imagine Wlad would keep one (or both) of those while Vitali ruled the WBC, with Don King continuing control of the WBA.

And if Valuev fought and beat Ruiz...no DK heavyweight stranglehold. That would be interesting

Yeah, interesting. But Ruiz is fighting Brock and has shown little interest in fighting the big guy. Why risk a potential defeat when he can make some money by beating on Brock and others like him?

I would rather see a Toney/Ruiz 2 than Ruiz vs Brock. Let Toney clear his system of any medicaments and then have the second match. If he beats Toney then Toney is done in the heavyes. If he loses, then he has no excuse and then Ruiz is done. Either way, it would be a step toward unifying the heavyes.

Valuev is busy with Donald and he can take on the winner.

We need an undisputed heavyweight king, not 4 title holders.

well i couldnt have got that more wrong if i tried, im not sure if it was the fact that Vlad had such reach/ height advatnages but Peter was ponderous.

It satys enough about Vlad that he struiggled through, neither of these two have much to offer imo at title level.

Peter looks like a worse David Tua, and Vlad shits bricks everytime he gets one anywhere in the region of his noggin.
