I could see nothing really positive in this fight for Wlad.
He still has decent skills and a potent jab, but he was in against a man who makes Matt Skelton look as quick Sugar Ray Leonard and he was down three times.
He may well get another title shot as there is no really dominant figure out there at the moment, but he is one good slug away from oblivion
Bizarrely, I kept thinking to myself that he would be a great opponent for Audley H who is quick and can hit a bit.

Thats my thought, and thats why I am saying not to count Skelton out of causing an upset, providing he can take the punches I think he can beat Wlad.Slapsie Maxie wrote:I could see nothing really positive in this fight for Wlad.

Not sure though about Audley matching up well with Klitchsko. I just think it will be a jabbing contest and I think I would favour Klitchsko - plus question marks still raise of Audley's pacing and ability to take a whack himself. He is a big enough puncher to KO Klitchsko, but isn't a huge puncher.
Audley matches up better with Peter and Skelton matches up better with Klitchsko if you ask me.
Peter is crude and limited, those who saw him as this big future star must be blushing. He needs to do some serious work on his conditioning, and shift 10-15lbs at the very least, he's too chunky. For that little loss of weight he'd be a bit quicker on his feet and have faster hands god knows he needs all the help he can get on that front!

all eliminator's r 12 rounders.Goz wrote:Why was this a 12 rounder by the way? Billed as en eliminator it should have been 10 rounds. Of just checked it was for NABF title or something, so that's a Ukranian against a Nigerian for the North American title? What bollox.
yeah i wondered why the nabf belt was on the line.
Ok, I thought traditionally speaking a fight had to be for a title or it couldn't be 12 rounds or 15 rounds? Maybe I'm getting confused, wouldn't be the first time....hitman_hatton1 wrote:all eliminator's r 12 rounders.Goz wrote:Why was this a 12 rounder by the way? yeah i wondered why the nabf belt was on the line.i think as long as the fight is in north america, it's eligible for an nabf title.
