Barclay's centre NYC Card

Post by freddydoesdallas »

I've only just watched this due to a manic weekend and can't find a thread on it so have to say, what a card!

The n'dam quillan show was just ridiculous. I can't remember a fight like it, can't believe n'dam made it past 6 and then quillan forced two knockdowns to win (cards say differently). I would like to see one of the brits in with him as they would have a good chance.

Malignaggi was in a cracker and did well to see it out. He did well to get up from that right.

Garcia looked immensely powerful against Morales. The left to finish was quite frightening to be honest. Should Khan even contemplate a re-match anytime soon?

Really enjoyed the card it started out with a snooze fest with Alexander Bailey but i was always intrigued in the fight waiting for Bailey to land i thought it was a good safety 1st approach from Devon who if he faces Brook will produce a much better performance. The Quillon fight was unreal don't think iv'e ever seen a fighter knocked down 6 times and still make the fight competitive i think we could easily see Macklin v Kid Chocolate on paddys day, Paulie was a little unlucky with the s/d i thought he won the fight by 3 rounds don't no what the judge who scored it Cano 118-110 if the fight happened in the UK the doctor would of stopped the fight as soon as Cano got the cut. Felt bad watching the main event to see a legend decimated like that was sad to see but fair play to Garcia he went out there and did a job on Morales i would of liked to see the corner stop it after the 3rd as there was no chance Morales was gonna recover.

Yeah, I reckon Macklin v quillon fight on paddys day would be a good fight in nyc. Any fight quillon is in will be interesting.

Cano had a horrific cut, glad it went on though and also have no idea where the 118 card came from.
