I think he should have a few easier fights before taking a big fight again.

I think Chisora would have beaten Fury if he was in shape. Can't knock Fury for his performance that night though can only fight what he is in the ring with.

It is telling that despite coming off this number of losses (albeit one was a shite decision) and he still gets a big fight. Just shows that taking risks can sometimes pay off and there is no shame in losing a fight if it is a decent fight.

I'm sure Del Boy said he is only in it for big fights win or lose. Got to respect him for that. The build up the 2nd time will be great. Chisora was unusually quiet last time knowing he was bringing a rubber ring in with him.

He has lost three in a row, it makes him look like a journeyman.

He should pick up a win against someone he is likely to beat like Rogan, before he fights someone he will be the underdog against like Price.

Chisora seemed intimidated by Fury.

I don't care what version of Delboy turns up, Fury beats him 7 days a week due to his work rate. Chisora is a plodder and I don't think he has the power to stop Tyson.

Fury wouldn't surprise me at all because they were going at each other on twitter after the Price / Harrison fight.

Im confident that if the best fury and the best chisora both turned up, Chisora would win.
Only an opinion.

I agree too. Chisora was in appalling condition for their 1st fight and seemed lackluster - he fought as if he knew what was going to happen.

Since then he has beaten Helenius (let's get it right, this was a robbery) and gone 12 rounds with Vitali. Fury has not done much, although he looks in better shape in recent months.

A fit Chisora would be Fury's stiffest test to date - no question

Agree with you, eh beat Helenius by 2-3 points for me. Robbery out there in Finland. Did really well in his fight vs Vitali.

So his record is pretty decent really, so what he has a few losses now, he's proved he's a decent operator in the HW division.

Why didn't he turn up in shape to fight Fury?

Who knows. You could say the same at some point in their career for almost evry decent heavy of the last 25 years. Not having the target and need to make weight is a considerable contributor and so is the temptation of a payday - Heavies can be recycled numerous times - who cares if you were a fat blob who got smashed 6 months ago!

He'd been due to fight Wlad twice only for the fight to be called off (second occasion a matter of days before) so he must have been jaded physically, then I imagine it must have been difficult getting motivated for a fight against Fury when he'd almost challenged for the World title?

And a hernia that curtailed his roadwork, Don Charles ( his trainer) mentioned it.

Got screwed twice training for Wlad. Then gets an up and coming gobshite in Fury and takes it easy after months of hard work for his big shot which didn't happen.

I also agree. Chisora was in diabolical condition against Fury the first time. If he was in the shape he was in against Helenius or Klitschko he will win the fight in my eyes.

Based on what though?

Although he gave a better showing than most do against old man Vitali, who I think is there to be beat, he still lost by a mile and barely landed anything of note. Helenius looked ponderous and slow because, well, he is ponderous and slow! He also claims an injury in the first few rounds prevented him from throwing that night ( not having it myself )

Fury works too hard for Delboy. Chisora doesn't bang hard enough. Sexton gave him plenty of hassle until the stoppage in both their fights. Fury would beat him, again, on points, if they fought a rematch.
I hope they do. The first fight was quite entertaining at times and its a competitive match up.

I think Chisora deserves a tune up or two though given his recent results.
