Most hilarious rankings

Post by jomothepure »

I would like to propose a new challenge to the gentlemen frequenters of a boxing forum: find the sanctioning body with the most comedy rankings.

I bring this up only because I've just been looking at the WBC rankings. Audrey is #22. McBride is #21. Skelton is #35, two behind Calloway. WTF? Personally I'd have ordinary ahead of Skelton, but not by 13 places and not with sodding Calloway and Bonin in between them. And Owen Beck at #7? HAHAHA!

You dig my confusion?

So, 2 divisions, WBC, WBA, IBF, WBO in one and then the rest in another.

5 points for McBride in the top 20.
10 points for butterbean ranked higher than China Smith

etc. etc. etc.

Crock of shit, the whole thing

The WBF amuse me, the way they put whoever is champion at the top, but then have sensible ratings after that.

So the number 1 heavyweight in the WBF rankings was Audley Harrison. The second was Vitali Klitschko, the implication being that Audley was going to defened the WBF title against Klit. :box:

Is ranking number 8 the whole of the USA. I don't think there's a single boxer out there that a whole country could not beat.

Hilarious is the wrong word for this, but IBF have ranked Leavander Johnson #7 in their newest rankings.

That is utter lunacy, idiocy and a dispicable act by the IBF. Obviously these rankings were compiled after Johnson's death, otherwise he would still be champion. fornicating imbociles.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt josh, but at least the IBU refrain from putting dead men into the rankings
