Fury would've lost to all 3 opponents that have 'beaten' Dereck in the last year. It's unfair to make that direct comparison when Chisora has fought 3 guys out of the top 5 in the the world and Fury has been fighting has-been club fighters for the most part.

Would Fury have lost to Helenius? Not so sure myself. Helenius has never been top 5 either.
The other two? Both beat Delboy by miles so not sure it matters. I think Fury could give Vitali plenty of trouble to be honest. Vitali is there for the taking. Haye would stop Fury.

Most fans would have had him comfortably top 10 at the time Del Boy fought him... had some nice momentum after solid wins and many , myself included thought Fwank was leaving Del to get smashed to bits as punishment for the Fury showing...

I thought Del Boy won in a close fight too. My point was Helenius has never been top 5 that's all.
Re: DellBoy offered a big fight in december..
Can't see Tyson beating a fully fit Chisora.
Chisora outboxed Helenius for 12 rounds and got a draw

Re: DellBoy offered a big fight in december..
Think Helenius got the decision Chambers, it wasn't a draw.
Yeah, Chisora won that fight - but it was the most diabolical commentating I have ever seen from Rawling and Duke.... all the way through the fight they were saying how close the fight was.
Then when Helenius gets the verdict they start saying its one of the worst decisions in recent memory.

Re: DellBoy offered a big fight in december..
I thought Dereck beat Helenius and McDermott definitely beat Fury in their first fight. I seem to remember having McDermott the winner by 3-4 rounds!
Chisora was in terrible shape against Fury. I posted that I was going to put a few bob on Chisora but after the weigh-in. I thought better of it and even posted that I was no longer betting because of the poor shape Dereck was in. Common sense prevailed. Dereck lost that fight on the scales. Would be interesting to see a rematch with Dereck in shape.
I thought Price fighting Audley was a joke. Nobody with half a brain thought it would last more than 3 rounds. The Skelton fight is poor too, but I can’t blame him. December is only a few months away. So to secure a decent fight in that small amount of time would be quite difficult. I think Skelton was the reserve incase Auldey pulled out. That’s why Skelton had a fight on the same night. So the Skelton fight was already practically made.
It’s a chance to win the Lonsdale belt outright. One of the greatest things a British professional boxer can win. He does need to look convicing against Skelton. Which I’m sure he will.
Once Skelton is out of the way. Price vs Chisora wouldn't be a bad match up at all.

Adamek must fight Pulev after he beats Cunningham, so Adamek will not be around to giftwrap a belt for Fury. Pulev is far more ominous proposition, for Fury or anyone.keithmoonhangover wrote:Fury will beat Adamek for a vacant belt.

I didnt think mcdermott beat fury in the 1st fight but im probably the only one, either way mcd threw it away at the end my turning and running from fury in the last 2 or 3 rounds it was close. Tyson beat him comfortably in the rematch, tyson is improving all the time im not convinced delboy has enough to beat him and id be even less convinced if they were to meet in a years time.Exoddus wrote:I thought Dereck beat Helenius and McDermott definitely beat Fury in their first fight. I've heard through the grapevine that Dereck will be fighting Micheal Sprott, sprotts ban is up just before the proposed fight. Will it come off ? I don't know, but somebody in the know is confident that its happening, the winner fights for British.

If that's true and Sprotty can come in at under 238lbs then that will be an ok fight for Chisora as a comeback fight.Boxingcutsman wrote:I've heard through the grapevine that Dereck will be fighting Micheal Sprott, sprotts ban is up just before the proposed fight. Re: DellBoy offered a big fight in december..
It was one of those Chinese whispers fights that was close, and there wasnt much in it depending on what u liked to see. But as always, boxing fans get their knickers in a twist and it has been proclaimed the worse robbery of all time. Everyone gets so carried away when a decision is debatable. I remember having a chat with someone that went basically...."what a farce, big John clearly won that..." "really? How did u score it then?" "...I had John up by a round or two..." THATS NOT A ROBBERY!kingfinn wrote:I didnt think mcdermott beat fury in the 1st fight but im probably the only one, either way mcd threw it away at the end my turning and running from fury in the last 2 or 3 rounds it was close. I didnt see the fight live and read all the online comments, then when I watched it on YouTube I thought what's all the fuss about? He was caught with a few righthanders and fought a little too pittypat. Should've been given credit for taking the fight so soon. Thought one of johns fights with Danny Williams was just as controversial but no1 gave a fuk then.

I had a bet on Fury to win that fight on points and remember feeling very smug at getting one over the bookies when i collected my winnings the following day. I can't really remember the fight but I know i was worried that i had lost.Horse wrote:I think I might have given Fury the first McDermott fight by one point.kingfinn wrote:I didnt think mcdermott beat fury in the 1st fight but im probably the only one, either way mcd threw it away at the end my turning and running from fury in the last 2 or 3 rounds it was close. It's not Price.
Re: DellBoy offered a big fight in december..
i think it would me most likely to be a decent fight in germany that del boy has been offered. his stock is higher over there due to his vitali performance.
Re: DellBoy offered a big fight in december..
If there was a Prizefighter coming up, I would suggest that.
Only thing is he'll earn more money fighting a bum then that, if anything I would suggest going for Harrison if he is going to carry on fighting.
Both want to resurrect their careers so it makes sense.

I second this. Easy to make now Maloney's in bed with allegedly. Will give Price a chance to win belt outright before moving on and should sell out the Echo Arena with a decent undercard.
