I hate to disappoint you, but Angie (as I call her) just woke up, nudged me in the ribs, and said "there's no chance of me shagging that Jimmy Jam."JimmyJamJerusalem wrote:About as much chance of Dann taking on Lockett as there is me shagging Angelina Jolie. Man I hope this fight happens,![]()

Can't believe the tart woke me up to tell me that.......
Seriously, that could be a more than decent fight. I back Dann myself, I really think Lockett was hugely overrated. Of course, he could prove me badly wrong..... He wouldn't be the first.

Just looking a various options now................
Possibilities in Europe or Commonwealth against James Toney (the Ghanian not lights out Toney!). There are also some British fighters around to defend against, Richard Williams maybe an option.
There was a rumour Lockett was gonna box Rhodes? Any news on that?

The Toney fight would be a good match up, he has a good record on paper, but it seems to built up in Ghana so not to sure on the quality of his opponents.Jamie Sanigar wrote:Just looking a various options now................

When he has stepped up he has either lost, won or drew on points, so maybe he's not as powerful.
definetly a winnable fight for Dann.
Looking at the Euro title its held by Sebastian Sylvester who is German, so i can't see Dann wanting to go there to try for it, to many dodgy desicions , although i'd pick Scott to beat Sylvester.

I know Rhodes was at Cardiff to watch Lockett, think Rhodes has another fight lined up first against Danny ThorntonJamie Sanigar wrote:Just looking a various options now................

Speaking to Gary they are trying to make the Rhodes fight in November, but I'm sure he'd prefer a crack at ScottJamie Sanigar wrote:Just looking a various options now................

I'd like to see Elcock get a few wins first, he needs to be busier in the future. Elcock got great support when he fought in Birmingham, so maybe get a few home shows on.steve richards wrote:An Elcock rematch down the line would be good, i thought both fighters were a little off in there first match.

Elcock rematch?? He had his chance, and didn't take it. Dann can pick and chose his fights, but if the Board make Lockett mandatory (as they nearly did with the Gray eliminator), Dann is in big trouble. It would be nice to see him defend against Lockett voluntarily, but not likely!! Re: Angelina Jolie, lol
Fair play to Rhodes if he is still up for it after seeing Lockett score a clean KO, I didn't think he'd have that much confidence in his whiskers these days.Kevin wrote:I know Rhodes was at Cardiff to watch Lockett, think Rhodes has another fight lined up first against Danny ThorntonJamie Sanigar wrote:Just looking a various options now................

They were both flat as a fart when they fought, The rematch would be a good move for both parties. I argree Lockett would (if he caught Dann clean) take him out, but if they went a few rounds i would go for Dann on cuts as Lockett does tend to mark up badly.JimmyJamJerusalem wrote:Elcock rematch?? An Elcock rematch is worth while but Wayne should have to earn it, there's others in the queue first.
I'd tip Lockett too to beat Dann too, but it's no formality as some seem to think. You can't just rule out a puncher like Dann....with almost anyone. As long as Dann's standing he's got a chance of winning.
