How is this allowed?

Post by Craig14 »

On the 20th Oct. Kashif Mumtaz was koed in 2 rounds by Joe Blackburn in Wellington, NZ. 4 days later in South Sydney he was koed in 4 rounds by James Beard. Is there no one month suspension in Oceana for getting stopped? Pretty dangerous if there's not.

Things don't change. Bernie Hall's fighters were barred from Stadiums Ltd fights in the 1960s when Bernie pointed out to the Licensing Police present that one of the Larrigo brothers was on the program in spite of being KOed the previous week.

NSW Authority nor Boxrec was aware of his TKO loss on 20th. NZPBA sent results on 25th. He didn't score a suspension on 20th, but nevertheless had NSW been aware, he wouldn't have been allowed to fight on 24th. NZPBA has now suspended him until January 26.
