Why not Haye Vs............

Post by Ratchet Exits Nu »

Huck?

I think it wold be a good battle when Huck moves to Heavy. David can't just chase the money from a Klitschko fiht, he has to fight and earn it. Not saying beating Huck is the main thing, just that Haye needs to keep busy, unless its purely for the one big payday.

There aren't many World heavyweight title challengers who have earnt their shots in the last few years mate. Look at the next World heavyweight title fight. You telling me Mariusz Wach or whatever his name is earnt his shot? What about the last 2 World heavyweight title challengers in Manuel Charr and Hasim Rahman?

Good point/post James - when you look at it like that..... more world title challengers haven't earned their shot than have fought for it.

Probably only Adamek and Samuel Peter have done enough to say they've "earnt" their challenge to Vitali since his entire comeback (at a push maybe Juan Carlos Gomez).

For Wladmir it would have to be Eddie Chambers, nobody since and not many before.

The WBA route? Maybe Ruslan Chagaev when he faced Valuev - nobody really else since.

Its nice to see though so many intriguing bouts in the devision coming up..... Cunningham vs Adamek 2, Price vs Wilder, Mitchell vs Banks, Fury vs Boytsov etc.

Getting knocked clean out by the guy who gave Vitali his most competitive fight since coming out of retirement is probably earning your' shot too.

to be fair haye did also beat valuev so he has the best record at heavy out of the rest of the guys not holding a title and arguably a better cv than povetkin. Who else is more deserving of a title shot than haye?

Pulev is IMO the most deserving having strung together wins over fringe contender types.

the ring and boxrec - however helenuis who we all know he beat was ranked highly by most of the governing bodies.

Haye -V- Huck wouldn't be competitive at all. There both about the same size wise but Haye is the better boxer and would stop him in the mid rounds.

Yes, he is. Quite sad to see him begging for the payday against Vitali.

Why beg? Shameful, imo

If Huck gets past Arslan which he will!! expect him to fight Wlad as talks have already started between the camps. Huck has been calling out Wlad more and more in the press the last few weeks and providing both come through their "tests" its a fight that will easily sell out a stadium in Germany in 2013. Easy money for the Klitschko machine!

Is that a great offer? I would have thought Wlad would get more with them running the show. Would be a big draw in Germany.

The main sticking point when it comes to the fight coming off is the TV situation. The Klitschko's signed an exclusive contract €3million a fight deal with German television network RTL on Monday. Sauerland who promote Huck however have a contract with rival network ARD. So Huck will have to negotiate out of the ARD deal for the Wlad match to happen.

everyone watch the huck v arslan fight...arslan is a very similar type of boxer to arthur abraham. foream=rms vertical and tucked in, peeping atyle and unloads only when the opponent has finished letting his shots go.
