Is there more fights to be added to this? At the moment there is only 2 12 rounders. I thought sky wanted 3 championship fights per show.

Can't see any more getting added think Sky want to showcase Roy Jones in his 1st 8 rounder and possibly show Scotty Cardle as am going the show i hope there is another fight as i can see Bellew and the Froch fight both being 1 sided and given most of the This Is It was 1 sided Matchroom need to step it up(which they have with the Christmas Cracker show)

Ive just failed to resist temptation and bought 3 tickets to this

I sure am hoping at least one more "good" fight is added as its a bit weak as it is .

I still think it will be a poor main event but i just dont want to miss it and then find it ended up a cracker .

Plus ive got a mate fighting on it .

Nowt to do with Sport or looking after the punters.
X in the kitty, Y to pay out, Z profit.
If Y exceeds X end of.
Sky are not throwing money at Hearn even though he's got a monopoly.

That's fair enough but who on the bill has emptied the kitty?

No! :OhYes: but their interest may be rekindled in time for the Froch vs Kessler PPV at the Forest Stadium next summer.

Final Round,
How much do you think the headliner has cost purse wise ?
How much do you think Sky are paying for the whole bill ?

Come on Twenty Six

The main event aside its very poor stuff.

If this was a FW bill the knives would be out.

The Hearn/Sky love in is bad for the sport end of story.

'Meet the new boss, he's the same as the old boss'.

Lets be balanced on here eh fellas

26 I've no idea but I'll have a wild guess and leave myself open for a ribbing. I'd imagine Mack is getting about $250- $300.000 dollars and Froch is getting around £375-£450.000 pounds.

Sky pay around £250-£300,000

Mack $100,000, Froch £500,000? Sky used to pay around £80,000 but as it's Eddie, they probably double it.

No way Sky are able to double what they used to pay, not in this climate and with Sky taking on F1 etc. Boxing is viewed as a minority sport at Sky and therefore isn't getting a good budget. The MD of sky sports is a boxing fan and he can't help the sport any more than this.

Hearn has done a deal with Betfair which no doubt has brought in some revenue but the money isn't getting better....

I would have thought the cash is a lot better for a 'stacked' card than it was for the single british title shows that were regular before.

I'd be surprised if Carl was getting much more than 250,000 for this but then again what do I know!

I doubt DeGale got that. The original purse bid from Dave Coldwell was 400K. I doubt this transferred over when Al Ledgedly took the bill over.

It sounds like Ward has taken the Pavlik fight for January.

Jesus, Pavlik is gonna get made to look ridiculous in that one. At least against Froch it would have been a bit of a shoot out for a few rounds. Against Ward he's gonna be systematically dismantled!

That seems to happen to all Ward's opponents!

That's true but if any fighter is made for Ward it's Pavlik. He's going to get badly busted up and stopped on his stool.
